At twenty six years old he felt stuck in his small quiet life. He worked in the village bakery during the day and spent his nights reading old books about forgotten magic. One book spoke of a fire demon who once ruled these lands. The words pulled at him until he could not stay away.

One of the men asks, making the others laugh. "No, I plan on making this flame bigger and burning your asses so we can have a barbecue. Anyone hungry?" I ask the others as the flame grows bigger; when I pull my hand back to throw, they begin running toward the back of the cave from which they came. I throw the flame, and they scream as they run. I like having magic; I can't wait to find out what else I can do. "This isn't the last you'll hear from us," Cypress yells.
