E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

She looked at the professor curiously, but he said: “If you point the wand slightly downwards, as if you no longer use it, magic loses its effect. It's like doing something, then you think you don't want it anymore. And then everything ends. But I am glad to see you have chosen the path of a wise wizard. When you deepen the magic like controlling water, you succeed in doing what you want with it. But this requires a lot of work... you all need to work hard on what you get through. These magic tricks become part of you.” “What to dig deeper? What will become part of me? Me, wise wizard ...?” these questions flashed in the girl's mind. She didn't understand anything about what this professor k

Dragon King's Human Mate

Dragon King's Human Mate

Axon spat out blood, his eyes filled with anger. Before I could launch another attack, Axon invoked a power, and it was too late for me to use any thwarting magic. It was a time-freezing spell, a magic that belonged to Alice. Axon smirked as my body became immobile. "Finally, I can take your powers," Axon said with a contented smile. However, what he didn't know was that my magic is fickle. It adapts to the environment and helps me escape. The time spell freeze was undone by my magic, and Axon's smile vanished. The other warlock who had come to aid him froze in shock as they watched me walking freely.

The Kind Villain: A Legend of Woof-Woof

The Kind Villain: A Legend of Woof-Woof

I wipe my tear with a finger. My mate is such a child; he can be protective, a playful pup, romantic in the wrong place, fearful, and emotional in a day. The rest of my life will never be boring. I saw Acro walking around the two and when she stretched her neck to squint at me, I lifted my thumb. What's more powerful than magic is words—a power that can soften the corrupted heart. Later on, one of the spellbooks levitates and the pages flip on their own.

The Alpha Who Broke Me

The Alpha Who Broke Me

His presence fades, but his voice echoes one final time: "When you're done wallowing in your own inadequacy, we'll continue your lessons. I have so much more suffering planned for you, my dear." I don’t focus on those words. I focus on the ones he spoke earlier. I haven’t touched your precious magic. "He's lying," I whisper, staring at my hands. "He has to be lying." But even as I say it, doubt creeps in. I force myself to think past the panic, past the grief. When HAS my magic worked? Healing Vincent with my tears. Passing through the portal. Breaking Mom's cell. Every single time, I wasn't thinking. I was just acting on pure instinct.

Hidden Magic

Hidden Magic

I cannot risk Umbra or Jenny draining my magic from me or killing me to get it. I wonder if when my mother died, did she try to take her magic, only to find it was stored somewhere. My mother knew they were coming for her, but she did not fight either. She knew this would happen. My amulet is still around my neck, hanging low against my heart. I close my eyes and imagine my mother's magic. Please, mother, I need your magic to survive this. The amulet breaks free from my body, and my mother's magic spills into me. As the magic begins to take over, my chains break, and I am free.

One Night with a Lycan: A Big Girl’s Transformation

One Night with a Lycan: A Big Girl’s Transformation

The old man had a twinkle in his eye and a spry, mischievous look on his face. “It will all work out in time,” he said. Nolan shook his head. “I don’t know about that.” “I do. I know it.” The look in the old man’s eyes was convincing. It felt… almost magical. And ever since the first night Nolan met Yena, he knew that powerful magic existed. Impossible things could be possible when she was involved. Maybe… just maybe the old man had a way of knowing something Nolan didn’t. A tiny little bit of hope crept its way back into his heart.

I have really enjoyed this book as a whole… so far. I’m about 70% of the way into the story and find myself mostly happy with the book. I’m just wondering, why does the Prince have such a hang up about weight? It just seams a bit passive aggressive on the negative comments, and name calling.

The Alpha Queen's Deadly Secret

The Alpha Queen's Deadly Secret

Margot turns back to the mirror, just staring at her reflection – my reflection twice, really. She shakes her head, raising a hand to her cheek and softly touching it like she’s not sure it’s real. “This shouldn’t be possible.” I hesitate. “Why not?” “The magic,” she murmurs, leaning over the sink to inspect her face, turning it this way and that to observe the incredible effects of the spell. “It’s not that powerful. It’s just a little cantrip – a joke spell…”

The Luna Choosing Game

The Luna Choosing Game

She glanced at me, as if for permission. “Go on,” I said. “Have fun.” Nearby I saw the nanny coming up onto the deck. Elva saw her too, and ran toward her, holding up the folded bird. With Elva thoroughly distracted, I turned to Veronica, looking for an explanation. “What just happened?” Veronica took a breath. “That magic ‘trick’ was actually an incantation I read about in this book.” She motioned toward the merfolk book on the top of the bar. “The book contains many sections on curses and how to properly evaluate and remove them.”

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY!! This book is almost 600 chapters and it’s not even close to ending. Read the first 20 chapters then skip to about 550 because the rest is going in circles and making out and dry h*mping in closets And Piper almost dies 50 times. Nick won’t claim her. Now your caught up

Put 5 stars so my comment stays at top. This book is literally never-ending and I feel is just becoming a cash grab. The same scenarios keep repeating themselves in different ways and the plot does not progress. We're at 589 chapters in and only NOW seem like we're POSSIBLY getting some progression.

SNOW WHITE And The Supernaturals Of SHADOWVALE

SNOW WHITE And The Supernaturals Of SHADOWVALE

I couldn't help but wonder if I had become a vampire, my need for food no longer tied to the world of the living. The mansion existed within a time loop, where nothing seemed to diminish or change permanently. If I consumed a loaf of bread, it would reappear in the kitchen the next day as if it had never been touched. The same held true for every object within the walls of the enchanted house – a broken chair would mend itself by the next morning, returning to its original state. Even my own life was bound by the magic that enveloped the mansion. Any attempt to end my existence would only result in the magic bringing me back from the brink of death.
