Magic Users Novels & Stories

Each school has its own set of spells and techniques, allowing mages to specialize in a particular branch of magic or become versatile practitioners with a broad range of abilities. Mages are typically portrayed as intellectuals who rely on their intelligence, intuition, and extensive knowledge to cast spells and perform magical feats. They often spend years studying ancient texts, learning complex rituals, and mastering the intricacies of spellcasting. Mages are known for their ability to manipulate the fundamental forces of the universe, bending reality to their will through the use of incantations, gestures, and the power of their minds.

I asked to distract myself from his body against mine. He made a sound of disgust in the back of his throat. “Do you think it so easy to use magic? You need the right components. I have a dagger, why would I carry components for such a spell?” “For the event that you drop your dagger through the weave of a net?” I suggested, trying to keep my voice bland. In tale, it was always unwise to provoke magic users. “Hmmm.”

"It was never consistent, always sporadic and unexpected." Dr. Scott was deep in thought. He tapped his fingers on the arm of his chair while he considered what I said. "Elizabeth, vampires, like werewolves, have unique talents. Not the same ones, mind you, but as effective. Vampires, in addition to their physical prowess, may enter a person's mind. Yet, amidst the shadows of her desolation, a spark of intrigue emerged when she encountered a magic user unlike any she had known before. On one fateful evening, as the moon hung low and the stars seemed to shimmer with secrets, Isolde's path crossed with a man named Eamon. He exuded an aura of mystique, his presence a melody that resonated with the depths of her being. Eamon was not a witch or wizard, but a magic user – someone who wielded the arcane without the trappings of the traditional magical arts.

While a few were held back with a magical spell that suspended them in the air until thrown to the side. The rest got through the barrage of magical spells cast their way and took out about half of the sorcerers. Spells of fire erupted from the remaining magic casters, which knocked a dozen wolves aside, sending them rolling to the ground. Magnus and Ares commanded their own ranks to attack the sorcerers. Some wolves were taken out by powerful streams of fire released by the robed men.
