It was significantly less exiting than making things explode, but I no longer dealt with the pain of being flung across the room.
Surprisingly, as the days passed, calling on my magic became easier. The headaches were becoming few and far between. While I hadn’t yet manipulated the magic into doing anything, being able to feel it there—that was improvement enough.
Unsurprisingly, exercising wasn’t becoming any easier. While werewolves had higher metabolisms and were almost always athletic to some degree, it still took time to turn fat into muscle. It took even longer to memorize the self-defense moves Helios continued to teach me.
