When I opened my eyes again, Sam Truman was sitting at my bedside. "You're finally awake." When I was rescued at the cemetery, I had faintly caught a whiff of the unique jasmine fragrance on him. Once, Sam was my neighbor. He was like an older brother to me. He planted jasmines with me and grew up with me. And now, years later, he saved me from peril. Sam asked hesitantly, "That trending news about you a few days ago… was it true?"

One girl gets a protection gem, and the red and orange-clad witches burst into loud applause. One boy gets a stone that reveals he is an empath and Leita states, "Oh, good. Finally, someone new." Finally, it's Jenny's turn, and she glances at me before the Matron calls, "Next!" I give her a thumbs up from both my hands and hesitantly, she approaches the Headmistress. "Hello," the Headmistress says with another kind smile. "You must feel quite bizarre witnessing all of this." "Well, yeah," Jenny replies, not shy at all. "I didn't even know magic existed, and now you tell me there's a whole supernatural community hiding in plain sight."

I waved my hand dismissively around the room and muttered, "rewind." I watched as every object that was affected by my burst of magical energy started to rewind themselves and fit back into the positions they were before. Broken glasses began to mend themselves as the bed groaned back into position. I watched it all through uncaring eyes as Liza squealed on in fascination. "This is amazing Ezzy! You're really magical!" In her excitement, she got up then bent down and clasped her hands over mine and jumped on the balls of her feet, almost tearing my arms off.

The air was alive with the scent of possibility, the glow of the dream realm casting a soft, ethereal light that illuminated the path before her. As she journeyed deeper into the dream realm, Mama Hazel felt a sense of wonder and awe at the sights that unfolded before her. Magical creatures flitted through the air, their iridescent wings shimmering in the moonlight, while fantastical landscapes stretched out in a breathtaking tapestry of colors and shapes. Each step she took led her further into a world where imagination reigned supreme and where the boundaries of reality melted away.

I didn't have the first clue and a small whine escaped from me as I tried to figure it out. Derek understood my dilemma, "Just relax, take a deep breath, and concentrate hard on being human. The magic should do it automatically." I took a deep breath and tried to picture myself as I looked in the mirror. I put all my will into that thought and concentrated on becoming human. It took me a long moment, but I felt the world begin to melt and shimmer around me. I ended up crouched on the table completely naked.

“Suzy, I can’t believe it. I’m an elder sister to someone…again.” “Wow! Congratulations!” she hugged me. “Suzy!” someone called. “I need to leave now. I’ve got something to do. I’ll see you guys later.” She rushed her words. “Extend my greetings to the queen.” She whispered. “Bye.” I waved happily. “Can we go home now?” “Sure.” Steve smiled. “Come with us, Nancy. Let’s drop you home.” He beckoned. ~ After Steve dropped Nancy off at her place, he drove us home, the Spears’ mansion. I couldn’t visit the Magical kingdom because I was tired so I stayed back at home. I’d surely visit the next day.

Dora smiled warmly and handed me the old book, saying, "Your mother would have wanted you to have it. It's time for you to know the truth about your past." Different emotions ran through my blood as I looked at the journal, belonging to a woman I barely knew. I opened the worn pages of the journal. Inside, I found detailed accounts of her life, spells, and magical discoveries. The pages were filled with sketches, incantations, and notes. “Thank you,” I said as I put it into my bag. I stepped out of my chamber and was relieved to see Troy and Antonio waiting for me just as they had promised. Troy pulled him into his arms and hugged me tightly

That has never happened before. "Amoux, Ainar !!" Megan rushed through the towering bookshelves and started looking for her kids. "Megan, wait!" Bella ran after her and grabbed her. "Take." She pushed the two jades into Megan's hand. They also act as a compass to find the missing body of the soul in them. Megan collected the jades, clasped her fists around them, and channeled her magic into them. Her eyes turned silver and she watched as a trail of magical energy appeared and started moving towards the exit of the Library.
