I had always known that I was different, but I had never imagined that I would have magical powers. The elder dragon began to speak, his voice low and rumbling. "Syla, child of the moon, you have a great gift within you. You have the power to communicate with the spirits of the land and to harness the ancient magic that runs through your veins." I listened intently, feeling a sense of awe. I had always felt a connection to the natural world, but I had never realized that I had the power to communicate with it.

Pure instinct took over my body, but instead of shifting I lifted my hand and magicked him to a complete stop. I gripped my fist tightly allowing the rage and despair of my heart to overcome me. With a thrust of my fist, his eyes bulged and his face went red. Without another sound, the man dropped to his knees. Dead. I stared at my hand for a moment in complete and utter shock. I had never killed anyone using my abilities like that before. Until now, I only knew how to heal with my magic. My capability to turn into a wolf wasn't the only thing that had been unlocked. I eyed him in confusion. “How is that possible?” “I just wield the power when I choose to,” he said. “It comes from within. Nothing can trigger it unless I decide to bring it out myself.” “So we need to train your mind,” I said uncertainly. “You shut it out because of guilt, so now that you feel less guilty, it should work… right?”

Walking over to Rebecca, he helped her up. “Pardon?” asked Ruby. “You heard me. With your trash skills you still dare take the challenge.” “Pfft.” “What energy level are you?” Ruby frowned. Kevin said, “Ruby, every magician can use magic to active spells. Basically, anyone can use spells base on their energy level. Spiritual powers are individual users who uses specific creatures, items, themes, etc.” Ruby looked at him with a pretend confusion.

It is time I used my power for good. The water ripples around me as I pull on my power. I close my eyes and tilt my head back to the sky. With my free hand, I raise it and slowly release my magic. I open my eyes and direct the light towards the dead female. I watch as the power encases her. A golden glow forms around her.

Magic I used before I'll get instantly, Magic I haven't takes trial and error. This will not be an error. I just have to think sweet and cuddly as I conjure up another snowy to keep me company. As the magic started swirling around me, I feel the power humming stronger than it ever had before. Maybe its because it's royal magic but it didn't feel right. I closed my eyes to reel in some of the magic but it was no use. The power was taking over to the point I had to tap into the source.

Rose immediately got up and went up stairs as instructed. For Rose, this was a win. However, she also wanted to know how she did that. She did imagine electrical magic, but she thought that it was supposed to be impossible to be done under the influence of mind control spells. ‘Perhaps, this is what they call willpower?’ A power that goes beyond the understanding of current knowledge even in this world.
