“I am nearly eighteen, but I understand what the individual insinuates. There is a lineage of wolves who are descended from two mated pairs of wolves blessed by the Moon Goddess. They have the ability to find their fated mate regardless of their age, so long as their mate has reached eighteen. After enough time around their fated mate, the bond snaps into place.” “Are you saying that you are a descendant of the Khoeli Wolves of Zimbabwe?” Marcus asked smoothly. How the living fuck did he know about my lie? I kept my face impassive even though he had me reeling. I could feel my mates’ shock which only compounded with my own. Although, I was thankful for his question because it hounded in the

Martin stopped and skimmed over his owns word. That elder wasn't wrong when he said that Martin was a direct descendant of the Redwood Brothers. "I come from the same bloodline," He finally blurted the truth out. I-leaned forward, excited. I was mated to a fucking royal. "So, really? How many of you are there?" "Everyone's dead," He rumbled. "What?" "My family were the last ones of the Redwood bloodline, we were directly related to one of the brothers and we didn't have any cousins, so, it's safe to say that everyone is dead."

Who would refuse that! ‘Ok, but I don’t want everything new. The only thing I want is a nice reliable propane stove and a good mattress. I don’t even care if the mattress has to be on the ground, I really don’t’ ‘We’re getting everything new, Malyshka, don’t worry about it’ ‘That’s going to be way too expensive. I can see what my brothers are willing to give us’

Could he be from one of the founding families, descended from the original shifters? “What can I help you with today Marques?” I ask studying his features a little more closely as I wait for him to speak. The family descended from the original mershifter was noted to have a small anchor shaped birthmark on them. There’s a small mark peeking behind his ear, but I can’t tell if its an anchor or not, there was no discreet way to check either. ‘Check the mergirl over. See if she has an anchor imprint anywhere on her body.’ I command my Beta.

“So that is why my Lycan’s Royal power mixed with hers the first time I touched her after I had rescued her.” Zachariah’s eyes go wide as this information makes a little more sense to him and is obviously something that I missed. “You are a Royal Lycan?” “Yes, I just found out that I am the last descendant of King Darius and Queen Mira’s firstborn.” “But isn’t King Malik the last descendant?” “Of King Darius and Queen Mira’s first Lycan born, yes. I am, however, the last descendant of their very first pup, the one that Mira conceived while she was still human…”

"But ..., I don't understand, if I am now undoubtedly an Elevender, are my parents also ...?" Xandra shook her head. "Not necessarily. With us, children are complicated. When we are born, it is certain that at some point a counterpart will be born to us, a soul mate, we call that elevation. The principle is deeply rooted in our people. Most Elevender children come from these relationships, only a small percentage come from mixed or purely human connections. I can't tell you which species your parents belong to, but we can investigate if you want. "

“Now would you like to know what species your babies are?” Mila’s eyes went wide “You can do that?” Dr. Livids just Chuckled and looked at Nuala “You didn’t tell them did you?” Nuala just shrugged “Nope I thought you would like that honor.” Me and Mila were both looking at them in confusion. “Tell us what?” Tell us what Mila asked. “Well, Marsha is a hybrid herself.” Nuala said proudly. “Really?” Mila said excitedly “Yup,” Marsha said a smile on her face “My mom's a witch and my dads a Vampire.”

Afterwards the locals had been frozen out of the information flow. "Hang on to your disbelief," I cautioned Esmeralda. "My Father and I are descendants, by an ancient male line, of a deceased A****n First House. My ancestor dates back to the end of the Second Betrayal. He was sent on an official mission and told someone would come back to him and the few males with him." "Since he was on the rolls of the Host, so were all his offspring - until my Father and me," I said. I let her digest that.

Mummo explains as simply as she can, while I lay there completely stunned. “How?” “How old are you guys?” “What does that mean?” I stutter, trying to understand that my family is directly descendant of the moon goddess and what it means. “It means you and Liliana were born to be powerful strong queens, meant to lead your people towards a bright future. Your father is 235 years old; Osric is 262, Embry is 258, and Jonathan is 152. They’re all pretty young considering how hold I am,” Mummo softly speaks, running her fingers through my messy hair as a tear rolls down my cheek.

Yet amidst the agony, a revelation eased my suffering: I was destined to be mated to the Marshall quadruplets. I was beyond thrilled; the quadruplets were simply irresistible. Each of them possessed a distinctive trait known only to them. Handsome and tall, they commanded attention with their varied shades of hair and eyes—it was impossible to look away. Every one of them was Alpha Alex Marshall's son, inheriting the formidable legacy of being part of the Gold pack, led by the most powerful alpha in Rio. "Hey, good morning!" Malia greeted me with a warm smile, the kind that always made my day brighter. She was that one friend who stood by me when everyone else seemed to neglect my presence.
