"Ethan and Arnold, your lineage is more significant than you know. You are the true heirs to the throne of the entire werewolf kingdom. Your reign is the key to restoring lasting peace." A collective gasp echoes through the hall. Ethan and Arnold look stunned, and their eyes widen in shock. I feel a rush of relief and a sense of rightness. Deep down, I’ve always known that they were destined for greatness, but hearing it confirmed is overwhelming. "How can this be?" Arnold asks, his voice shaking slightly. Seraphina smiles gently. "Your bloodline carries the legacy of our ancestors, a lineage that has been hidden to protect you until the time was right."

I asked, readjusting my position to listen better. "Well, they are practically descendants of old species. Most likely in the last two hundred years, they had an ancestor who was a part of the supernatural community. Mostly, these are witches in particular who decided to mate with humans. Sometimes Magic dies in family lines, especially when they continuously mix with those that are not their kind, in this case-humans. Blood is forgotten and they and their descendants fade into nothing. But of course, magic can never really be completely gone, that's why once every other generation from the descendants of every forgotten ancient blood, a finder, a glimpse, or a hunter is born." "What are tho

"The symbol belongs to a bloodline that was believed to have vanished generations ago." My heart pounded. "What bloodline?" Maelis leaned forward, her voice dropping to barely a whisper. "The Aurelian line. They are the descendants of the Moon Goddess herself. They were the oldest Alpha family in existence." I shook my head. "That's impossible, I am an orphan. Nobody ever came for me, nobody has ever claimed me." "Because someone made sure they couldn't." Maelis reached out and took my hand. Her fingers were warm and steady. "Your wolf, Auren. When did she stop responding?"

’ ‘What do you mean I’m… WE are descendants of Andra and Anu? ‘You didn’t know that?’ ‘Really? If I did do you think I would be surprised?’ ‘I guess not. Well, yeah Andra and Anu had pups before the coronation. We are descended from the oldest. The first female Alpha.’ ‘HOLY SHAT! Are you ser-‘

I had absolutely nothing to reply to her. "Tell me Mira. Did we ever mention to you that we were half breeds?" She looked at us with shock, she didn't seem to believe it at first, and I could understand why. We didn't look like we were outcasts at all. "With Mal as an exemption, we have a mix of a wolf gene and a vampire gene, that's why there is no resemblance between us. So we aren't pure blood." He admits. His mood slowly drops, I could hear his heartbeat from here. Nervous and anxious at the same time, the painful memories flooded in.

Shex said folding her arms over her chest while her eyes darkened. “Actually, we can. You have already admitted that Kar and I are direct descendants of the Creators. That means we hold more power than all the Royals. Even over those who are Descended from the Original Six families.” Lex said. “Enough all of you.” Mera said. “Shex you know they are right about the Creators. You also know they are right about needing to be left alone. They are mated and it is the law that Mated couples are not controlled by anyone but each other and the laws.”

“He’s claiming the den, the house and the hotel, as a direct descendant of Georgina Sinclair.” Malachi smiled sadly at that point as I gave him the bad news. We would lose everything. “He can’t lay claim on them.” James, Shoran and Adara filed into the kitchen and Adara gripped my hand tightly. “What do you mean?” Claiming the Alpha seat with due cause meant that you also claimed all that the sitting Alpha owned. Alexander had more claim on them since he was a blood relative. The claim for the Alpha’s riches weren’t always approved unless you were a descendant.

Was that even possible? " Look Malia ", she said, taking my hands and gently massaging them, " your child will be the first of his kind, a hybrid, one that will unite all the creatures of the underworld. He will start a new era, a new beginning and a new people, and he will be needing both his mother and his father to achieve that", the way she was saying ' he ' made me wonder if she had conducted a scan to determine the sex of the baby. I was still dumbfounded, and completely speechless.
