Ben, sensing the sudden shift in Max's demeanor, narrowed his eyes, wary of the brewing storm. As Max closed in, a sly grin played on his lips, a mixture of defiance and amusement. Ben, in response, arched his own brows, grappling with a growing confusion. Max's unpredictable behavior hinted at a depth of emotion and intent that Ben hadn't anticipated. Caught off guard, Ben couldn't help but feel a twinge of uncertainty. Max's demeanor seemed to oscillate between controlled anger and a hint of madness.

She wolves in heat weren't really themselves drunk on hormones they tended to act with only one goal in mind and often forgot what had happened as their wolves usually took over. "Slow down, Ben." Max's voice came over mind link. He also liked to ride a motorbike and was right behind me on the winding roads he drove a sweet vintage harley. "You won't be able to help your mate if you come off the damn bike." he added. "I will heal." I retorted over the link.

Ben turned round and punched Max in the face, cutting his lip in the process. “You fucking asshole” Ben shouted as he pushed Max back into the shed. Max held his ground as Mark grabbed the door shut and stood between the two boys. “What the fuck Ben?” Mark groweled. “Ask your fucking brother! Really Max? Really? That’s how you’re going to play this?” Ben answered back in anger as he tried to get around Mark. “What? Play what?” Mark asked in confusion.

Benjamin did not know how and how much power Alsenic had after Max took control. Max spent too much time on himself; he did not care about his pack or anything else. He only needed a few bodyguards to protect him wherever he was. And that was not too surprising to Benjamin. Max was raised by a vampire, so it was natural that his behavior was more similar to a vampire than a werewolf who liked to be in groups. Benjamin's anger subsided as Blue, and some of his men entered his private room after knocking on the door and getting permission to enter. All of them stood in a line and faced the master, who was now still sitting on the floor in a pathetic condition.

“Well, that's just the tale I hear from himself.” They look each other, gone the differences, and exclaimed to their heart content their discontentment. “You liar!” I clutch my chest, able to analyze where they come from. Especially the silent one who's name Haru gives me more than what I'm needed. I assume they are talking that man...I'm barely able to know. “Arsy, huh?” I smiled, waiting for the four to disappear behind the walls. “Gab's ...big bro?” I know them...except they have a change of identity. Or am I wrong that I know this people? Yet Gab...haven't change his.

Maxwell finished, his tone sounding dreamy. I leaned forward, “What if I told you I'm everything you mentioned?” Maxwell breathed out a small laugh, “Stop being sarcastic. So far, I can tell you're nothing of the sort.” I curled a brow higher than the other, “Oh? You already got an impression of me? Let's hear it.” But I actually have all those qualities he mentioned. lol. Maxwell pushed his chair back, “Umm… I think I feel sleepy. We should probably–”

Jax growls for everyone to hear through the mind link. “You call me a traitor? Who was the one going to get married behind his mates back? I didn’t tell her, she found out by herself. Didn’t she? So don’t dare call me a traitor,” Ben sends back, not backing down an inch. Does he not know this could cost him his life? “Only because you let this happen,” the deep growl coming from Jax’s chest, echoes off the walls, while he approaches Ben with a dangerous slender, as if he was his prey right now.

“When there are fewer people out there who want to kill us, I’ll make you scream so loud that every single star in the universe will hear you.” I chuckle, because that’s a very Malix thing to do, getting caught up in the moment and then having to adjust course at the last second. He’s a little more free-spirited than the other two feral shifters, but he’s just as smart and savvy as they are. He wouldn’t put any of us in danger if he could help it—and that includes letting me scream his name during sex. “All right.” I smile lazily, squeezing my inner walls around him. “We can take a rain check on that.”

Lyle sighed. Knowing what Lian had confessed to him the other day, he knew that his brother must have taken ecstasy. It would explain his extreme need for intimacy and his erect penis.
