I had to blink as I swear she seemed to glow with power as her anger continued to rise. I didn’t even have to take him out in the end. He fell at my feet, looking dazed, having finally been knocked out.

The woman nodded. Cassie darted toward the bedroom window and she stared down. The nursery was to the east of the palace, which made her see the hall used for meetings. Cassie's eyes narrowed when she saw a werewolf with the same aura as Lucia. The he-wolf looked bored; he completely ignored the other werewolves who talked to him. Cassie returned to bed. She frowned, finding the white-haired woman wide-eyed at Lucia. "Why? Did something happen?" "Her Majesty the Queen, princess Lucia's magic seal has slightly cracked." The woman bowed her head. "I'm guessing it seems that princess Lucia is the mate of the he-wolf, and it seems that the he-wolf is the child of an Alpha."

Eric smiles. “You are on the losing side,” Abner warns. “I think you will find you are. Alpha is already rallying the support for Alpha Temperance. She is an exceptional fighter. She never rises to temper, and she is fair. Not to mention more intelligent than six others put together. She is also a great diplomat. The humans love her, the wolves respect her. She is perfect. Her only flaw is her mate,” Eric huffs. Abner sees an opening. “You don’t like her mate,” Abner smirks behind the door.

Alisa complained and I burst into laughter. "Who is the catch then?". "Malcolm Voxlade Fridge. The surname is the most annoying part of the whole book. The other characters crack lame jokes about the name in every single chapter. The book lacks emotion. Twelve more pages to go and I can't even catch a glimpse of love. All I get is five chapters of them having sex two chapters of recalling the moment and one chapter of wishing it would happen again and the cycle continues" Alisa's annoyance radiated in her words.

Drawing Rolf might still cause a problem so I’ll go with Mary. My mind shifted to what Mary said this morning about giving in to Luka’s demand and becoming his Luna. Why would she do that? Has Luka paid her to tell me that too? Was he hoping I would change my mind if Mary talked to me about it? That was impossible, Mary is the nicest person to me in that Alpha’s mansion but the truth remains that I can’t give in to something I don’t want just because the person is nice. Becoming Luka’s Luna might be the end of me. I already hate the fact that I’m his mate and I don’t think I’ll survive being his Luna.
