LOST AND FOUND
The threads of light bent toward her touch, wrapping around her wrists and pulling her onward.
Then, faintly, another voice slipped through the dark — calm, melodic, too familiar.
“Still chasing ghosts, little wolf?”
Serenya froze. “No…”
From the swirling dark, Maelis stepped forward. Her gown shimmered with pale blue fire, the hem trailing into mist. Her hair floated as if underwater, her eyes gleaming green as emerald flame.
“You didn’t think the mirror would let you go so easily, did you?” Maelis asked, smiling faintly. “You’re stitched into it. Every shard bears your reflection now.”
