Far to their right is a small lake and not too far from that is a mountain with rocky features. Mallory looked at the map. There were a lot of caves, small rivers, and hills. Some old towers and barracks were long abandoned. She stared at it, making sure she took all images into her mind. If she manages to memorize the whole thing, it would be good for her to plan. She can choose a good hiding spot to her liking. She’s partaking in the hunt, but that doesn’t mean she’s hunting anything. The three-day hunt is the most important event at this exhibition.

Rain had been coming down in sheets, and I’d barely been able to see the road, just getting back from town with some supplies. As I pushed the door open, Scout bolted in ahead of me. But he stopped abruptly, tail tucked, a low growl rumbling from his chest. My senses went on high alert. Following his gaze, my eyes landed on the smears of blood. But there weren’t paw prints—no, these were human bloodprints. My hand found the bat by the wall, and I gripped it tight, creeping forward, following the trail. The marks led straight to the bathroom. With a quick breath and my hands wrapped tightly around the bat, I lifted my foot and slammed the door open.

“And now… the traditional scavenger hunt.” Cheers and groans erupted in equal measure. “That’s right,” she said with a mischievous grin. “You must participate. No excuses.” More laughter. She pulled out a dark velvet sack and held it aloft. “Inside are the names of every adult present. One name per strip. We’ll draw pairs at random. The hunt begins in ten minutes. Finish quickly—or be prepared to face the consequences.” A collective gasp. Someone shouted, “Tell us what the punishment is!”

The plan was very nicely thought. They first dragged me to complete some kind of gymkhana across the town, where there would be games and stuff that would end with shots and laughs. Like a scavenger hunt and each clue would be something for me to do or confess. If I succeeded someone else had to drink, if I didn't I would. And they'd hidden clues, creating a route to all the places where we usually hang out. The mall, the field, the park...

"Great, then let's do a scavenger hunt. You will hide three things of yours around this park, and I will also hide three things of mine. Then, you will go look for the stuff that I hid, and I will do so too. The first person to find all three things wins." "Okay." "Then... I will be hiding my slippers and one of my earrings." I informed him, taking off my slippers and my earrings. "Hmm, I will hide my wristwatch, and both of my shoes." He said, also taking off his shoes and wristwatch. We both head in the opposite direction, and I couldn't stop giggling as I hid my earrings under an old garden vase, then one of my slippers was in a tree house and the other, on a roller coaster.

If you don't then sucks” Coach responded, earning him snickers and chuckles from the guys. “Anyway, only one team can qualify and as some of you may know, you'll be put into a team of four” He explained as he raised up his list.

“Okay, girls! Everyone! Yes, this is a bachelorette party. Yes, we're having a scavenger hunt. Yes, you will have to fill out your cards. Yes, this is happening tonight.” She held up her hand. “And it's small. You only have to complete five items. You'll be in groups of six. Do what you have to do. Get your groups together!” We all gathered into our groups. Carmen handed out the cards. “And when you come back, we're going to have a little show.” So we did the scavenger hunt. One of the sorority teams won. Didn't really give a fuck until I saw the six gift cards given for Massage Paradise.
