Her wolf’s color was a shade deeper than her actual hair color. ‘Hey, hey,’ I helped her up when her wolf that was taller than Jia—being a lycan—suddenly stumbled, as if she could barely find her balance. But Lana shook her head and fur, her green eyes focusing. There was the same fierceness and strength in them despite feeling weak. ‘I’m okay,’ her voice mixed with her wolf was almost airy. Lana couldn’t hear the order over the noise from her machine, but did hear Tina confirm it. She had just finished making the caramel macchiato when she looked up to see Tina smiling so broadly she knew something had to be up. Turning around, she saw the reason her friend was blushing. Dressed in his regular white button up shirt and blue jeans, Xyrus stood there looking more refreshed than ever. “Hi,” Lana smiled, hoping her face revealed just how happy she was to see him. Something about Xyrus just put her as ease. He was so calm and peaceful. It seemed like nothing ever bothered him, until he saw what Dan had done to her, of course.

Luna was sitting outside on the bench, jotting down ideas in her notebook. Unaware that moments ago, a new magical beast that had yet to become domesticated broke out from the stables and was now on the loose. What she saw was a rampaging blue tiger beast that she recognized as a lanhu. A fierce breed of tiger beast, whose height could reach between six to eight feet tall.

Most wolves are either equal in height as their human form, or slightly taller in the case of Alphas and Lunas. Lucianne knew that Xandar’s animal would be larger than his human form but she was still surprised by what she saw, and had to take two steps back to get a fuller view.
