"I promise." Freya released a shaky breath. Then she smiled. A real smile this time. "Good girl." That night her mother taught her for the first time on how to encourage flowers to wilt. At first, Maya hated it. Every of her instinct rebelled. Creating felt natural. Destroying did not. She especially felt sad because flowers seemed to mourn when they died. But Freya remained patient. Again and again. Day after day. Until Maya learned it, becoming the only Rona in Valir’s court to be able to wilt flowers.

Freya stood in the lush garden of the palace, a gentle breeze rustling through her hair. She closed her eyes, taking in the sweet scent of the flowers and the soothing melodies of nature. The tranquility of the moment wrapped around her like a comforting embrace. Unbeknownst to Freya, a figure stealthily made its way through the garden, the delicate footsteps barely making a sound. It was Mimosa, one of Freya's loyal maidens, and she carried news that would shatter the peaceful atmosphere.

I sat down on the floor just outside her cell and said softly, “Hi, I'm Freya. What are you up to?” She cautiously turned to face me, and her beauty took my breath away. She had ash-blonde hair, and the brightest blue/green eyes. She was so pretty, it looked like her face had been sculpted to perfection. A button nose, high cheekbones, and a set of lips that would put the Kardashians to shame. She didn't reply, but she did hold up her pad to show me what she was doing. She had drawn a picture of me, surrounded by flames and lightning bolts. The picture was amazing and ridiculously detailed, I needed to see it closer. “Do you mind if I come in and look at it?” I asked her with confidence.

We watched as a hand emerged from the plume and gently brushed against Freya's cheek. Mason lunged forwards but I managed to throw my arm to the side smashing it into his chest stopping him from going anywhere. The smoke began to shift and morph into a human form. Standing before us was a stunningly beautiful woman, with pale white skin and brilliant bright white hair. She had sky blue coloured eyes with tiny gray flecks in them that sparkled as the ice blue glow shone around her.
