“How?” “I’d rather not say.” Rich leans forward, his Alpha aura flowing out of him. Because he’s focused on Maeve, he doesn’t see Xander’s response. Give her a chance to explain herself,’ I mind link him, watching Xander. Maeve tosses her head, showing that she won’t be intimidated, not even by an Alpha werewolf. I like her already.
