He replied and went away immediately leaving me with no time to give a response. I smiled and walked into Shadowvale’s tent. As I entered, Shadwovale looked up from his desk. “What brings you here?” I looked over the stack of papers that sat at his table and chuckled lightly. At first glance, one would think that these papers actually contain value but they are mappings of different lands and boundaries he would like to take possession of and his plans to actually get them. I tore my gaze away from the papers and looked at him staring at my face. “I would like to lay a first siege on Mistwood Creek,”

The alpha commanded, growling as he faced Nightshade. Nightshade sighed in exasperation, rubbing his temples as he started quieter. “Forgive me, but we will not have this golden opportunity again. We have such a narrow window now and we're wasting precious time.” “Right now, your warriors do not even need to be at full strength because the pack is weakened greatly. But I fear, if we let them mourn and regroup, their anger will fuel them in a quest for vengeance and we will all perish.” “So…who's with me?” Nightshade asked eagerly, his thin lips turning ever so slightly upwards as he smirked, hands shooting up rapidly.

"The North always remembers! Provide the 'Unmapped' Vengeance!" The remaining Shadow Claws didn't fight the grey static. They "fed" it. They opened their minds, allowing every "Rejected" memory, every "Dirty" scent, and every "Messy" emotion to flood the Architect’s logic. They turned the "Liquidation" into a "Consumption." The Architect’s grey planes began to shiver. The clinical, geometric deity couldn't process the "Vengeance of the Unmapped." It was being "Soiled" by the very reality it was trying to erase.

I wasn't crying from sadness; I was crying because the suffocating weight I had carried alone since being reborn was finally lifted tonight. ​"Now, pay your blood debt," I said coldly. ​Stab! ​Without a shred of hesitation, I plunged the poisoned silver blade straight through the center of his heart. ​Vance convulsed violently. His eyes locked onto the night sky, his fingers clawing at my wrist with the fading remnants of his strength. The nightshade venom, pure and lethal, systematically incinerated his wolf core from the inside out, unleashing a pain ten times worse than what he had inflicted on me. His mouth opened, but only thick, black blood spilled out, choking any final scream.

The air felt cooler here, the hush of the clearing broken only by the occasional chirp of crickets. “This is the bet,” Vance said, folding his arms. “Make the Bloodshade bloom before moonrise. Thirty minutes. No tricks, no help from others. Do that, and the badge is yours.” I stared at him, disbelief washing over me. “You know that’s impossible. The Bloodshade only blooms under the full moon. I can’t change nature’s timing.” Vance’s smile was slow and cruel. “Exactly. That’s what makes it fun. I don’t have to win... I just have to watch you lose.”

Phlegyas It was an accident when we killed Shade. Technically it was Penthesilea that killed her. We were walking through the forest on our way to meet the bears when we saw someone walking. I thought that was weird since there shouldn’t be anyone living here. We were actually close to the old pack land. The two of us decided to follow the woman. She stopped at a small stream to collect some water, and when she turned around, we recognized her. It was Shade. I knew she had moved locations at least three times after helping us create the triplets, but I had no idea she was anywhere around here. We watched her collect different plants and things. Penthesilea started following her back

He said this after the cold wind jarred him from his unconscious state of mind.

Rune’s boot slammed on my back and pinned me to the ground. “Maverick’s little army was stopped outside our settlement’s border, and here I have his little mate. I’m going to enjoy killing you.” I forced myself to focus on the only thing that could get me out of this. My venom. I heard Evyn and Dustin scream upstairs. The venom rushing to my fingertips receded rapidly. The bones in my back cracked. I cried out. “Time to shift,” Meadow said.

“Of cou—“ The rest of the words suddenly gurgled back down his throat, as I slipped out the surgical knife I’d hidden in my sleeves, stealthily, and slit his throat. I slipped away in the same stealthy manner, satisfaction filling my chest, as the man’s body slipped to the floor in his own pool of blood. And I slipped the small knife back into my sleeve, never looking back as the first scream rang out. Someone had discovered his body. I disappeared into the crowds, pushing the shades further up the bridge of my nose. This was the right thing to do…. I had to protect my boss, and myself. ------- -------
