“Late again, T.” Marissa leaned against the wall near the dressing rooms, twirling a lock of dyed-pink hair around her finger. Her lips curved into a smirk. She was older than me by a few years, and sharper too. She’d been working the club long before I arrived and she knew every trick in the book. “I know,” I muttered, slipping past her. “Traffic.” She snorted. “Traffic, huh? You don’t own a car T. Perhaps you can’t stand dragging your ass in here anymore.”

Marissa thought it must be that woman manipulating Dave. He even conveyed this thought to Marsya, making her smile on the other end. Of course, that's what he wanted. Marissa hated Aini after only one meeting. With that hatred, it's easy to incite Marissa to suppress that selfless girl, thought Marsya, who was full of cunning plans. The taxi stopped right in the lobby of Dave's office. Marissa said a few words before saying goodbye and hanging up the phone, then putting it back in her bag.

Usually, she knows all the gossip about the workers and fills me in on what has been happening. Marissa, a 24 year old from Italy, started working here about a year ago. Her cousin Tonya, also from Italy, got married and her husband forced her to go back to Italy with him, leaving the position open for Marissa to take over.

I was still laughing so he just turned around. Before I could get to the comfort room, I immediately heard the murmur of the people. Why is it that bad things always happen in this kind of place? “River’s probably just having fun with her. Everyone knows that Marissa is still the one. ” “That’s true. I think Marissa's just having her vacation right now but I'm sure when she's back, River will come back to her too. ” Marissa. I don't know who she is but she's always one of those people who's linked with River. As far as I know, she was also one of River's previously reported girlfriends.

"What are you doing here, Marissa? I couldn't help but ask her as I was feeling very agitated. Your mom asked me to bring you breakfast. She worries that you don't take good care of yourself since you are always busy with work. By the way, isn't it too early to be going to the office? "I have urgent work to attend to at the office so I'll be leaving now. You can inform my mom that I'm doing perfectly fine" I replied as I turned to leave only to feel Marissa's hands snake around my waist as she hugged me from behind.
