There was an archway covered in Ivy that marked the entrance and boxwood hedges making walls around it like a maze.
Hayward shrugged in return. “I suppose it will be interesting to see, won’t it? What kind of woman he decides he likes. Back home, they’d have already arranged a marriage. Men and women of our status rarely marry who they want. Instead, they just… well, the men aren’t terribly faithful to their wives. Whether the wives are faithful depends on their circumstances, and what the consequences would be like.” He stopped and shook his head. “They spared me that fate, and I’m glad. If I were a more normal prince… no, no. Not talking about that right now.”
