The Billionaire’s Debt Bride

The Billionaire’s Debt Bride

I accept out of spite, drinking it while Lucien works on his laptop like I'm not there. Thirty minutes in, I break the silence. "How many couples will be there?" "Eight, including us." "Do they all have real marriages?" His fingers pause on the keyboard. "Define real." "Marriages that started without contracts." "Most marriages are contracts, Mara. Some are just more honest about it." "That's bleak." "That's reality." He returns to typing. "James and Victoria Worthington married to merge family fortunes. Oliver Grant married his assistant to avoid a sexual harassment lawsuit. The Pattersons have an arrangement where he keeps a mistress and she keeps his credit cards."

Marriage Of Convenience With My Ex

Marriage Of Convenience With My Ex

Not this way. “I think you got the wrong idea, Mr. Heinsberg. I don't want a real marriage. I want to be chairman of Cooper groups. It will be a marriage of convenience. We will act as a couple in public, nothing more than strangers in private. It will be a public wedding but no registration. Once I became heir, we faked divorce. I will give you half of my assets like a normal divorce.” I declared, crossing my arm against my chest with a straight face.

Marriage For Convenience

Marriage For Convenience

“It’s not like it’s a marriage for love. Salvatore doesn’t have to feel anything to marry. He only needs to say yes and fuck his bride, perhaps father a kid or two, and keep his wife alive as long as we want peace with the Famiglia. You can do that, right?” I narrowed my eyes, not liking his tone. “I can do that.” Simone shook his head. “That’s a fucking bad idea and you know it.” “It’s unconventional,” I conceded, “but it’s a practice that’s been used in our circles for

My Marriage Is A Contract

My Marriage Is A Contract

Sebastian said. "I do not understand," said Charlotte. "It's simple. We get married just to get our families off our backs and we'll go our separate ways after a year. That way, we won't be breaching the term of the contract," Sebastian explained. Charlotte could see what Sebastian was driving at. If they got married, then they would fulfill the terms of the contract. The contract didn't say that they would have to be together for life. It only said that they had to get married to each other.

So much to say, so little space. The author is apologetic for errors. Honestly, I noticed some, but not enough to ruin the story. This was definitely an emotional roller coaster, and much more tame than most of the content on this app in the smut dept. Great read, highly recommended!

The Billionaire’s Marriage of Convenience

The Billionaire’s Marriage of Convenience

"You should do my make-up more often. It's fun, and I feel really special when someone like you does my make-up." "Someone like me?" "Yes. My husband." "I wish we had met in better circumstances," I admitted, and she sighed. "I always wish so as well. They say everything happens for a reason, so there should be a reason." "I wish I knew it. This marriage was like the biggest test of my life, you know." "But then, what was the point of getting married if we were to divorce after a year anyway? Why not just get married in the first place?" Alena asked, putting her hand on top of mine. Her nails were really cute.

Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

I bit the inside of my cheek, "Then why are you marrying her?" "A marriage of convenience" he simply said. "It's common in our world." I tilted my head to the side. "What's a marriage of convenience?" "It's a contract marriage for political links and power and to ally with the British crime firm." I furrowed my eyebrows. I have never heard anything like that before. This man already had so much power. How much power can a person possibly crave? "My parent's marriage was also a marriage of convenience. My father married the princess of the Bratva to form an alliance with the Russians. My mother was an effortlessly lovable woman, he fell in love with her even before they got married..."

This mafia series is wonderful. Once you read it you'll understand how beautiful this series is. The plot is not like any other story. I keep re-reading this series, especially this book. I never regretted finding this book. Every character is well written. Nikolai is absolutely one of my favorites.

27 chapters read, the book is really addicting, although I am not a fan of very young innocent female leads. My second book from this author, the first one was the one with the mayor's wife. I must say I liked that one more, it was something different, many books have similar storylines, this one too

A Chance At Forever: Chasing His Divorced Love

A Chance At Forever: Chasing His Divorced Love

“No, not that. You don’t really mean it when you say I mean nothing to you. You’re just angry about something I’ve done, and I understand it. We can make this work, Rogerio; we could go to therapy, go on a vacation, or something. Anything but this, you don’t have to move out of your own house to prove a point.” “Sometimes, I wonder if you were always this slow and I didn’t catch it in time or if you like to act obtuse on purpose. Let me clarify something for you: our marriage was an act of convenience. It was useful to meet our needs at the time, and it has run its course. I’m sick of it, and I’m sick of you.” “Rogerio, I…”

The Contract and What We Pretend To Be

The Contract and What We Pretend To Be

I exhaled slowly, loosening my grip on the steering wheel. The thought wasn’t exactly foreign to me, having a marriage of convenience, I mean. It was a common occurrence in the world I grew up in. Seen from a logical standpoint, it was a simple solution to a lot of problems. Everyone gained something from it, either financially, politically or practically. But still, the thought of it was just unappealing to me. Because I already knew it wouldn’t stay that simple, not for long. It would always end up with someone expecting more from the other, something real, which was something I wasn’t able to provide.

The Billionaire's Mistake: Married Too Young

"What do you mean, if he ever had sex with you? You are married and it has been 5 years." I put a hand up to stop him before continuing with the answer, "This is a marriage of convenience. It was completely arranged and neither one of us ever wanted to touch each other. That's why he cheats on me all the time. I just didn't think he would make it so obvious."

TEMPTED BY MY STEP-BROTHER, SCREWED BY THE BILLIONAIRE

I said conversationally. “I’m not most women. Neither am I your woman.” She paused and looked at me dead in the eye. “No.” My eyes slid to her. “You’re my wife. That’s significantly more interesting.” She crossed her arms tighter. “This is a marriage of convenience.” “I know what it is, Chelsea.” “Good, then act like it. Cause heaven knows if not for this situation that we are both in.. I wouldn’t even be in the same breathing space as you. The fuck no.”
