Author's POV Viola Blake had never believed in karma, until it came dressed in silk and shame, live on national television. From the quiet of the Blake mansion, she watched the gala broadcast on the living room screen. The chandeliers glittered across the feed, the laughter of the elite echoing through the speakers, and in the middle of it all stood Isla Hart, graceful, commanding, radiant. Maya walked back with a smile on her face; she was passing from the music room when she heard the piano; she growing, who must be playing piano this late? Stopping at the door of the music room; she tried to unlock the door but it was locked from inside; the tune got intense; Maya was not a big fan of piano but she held some knowledge of notes and all... she was not sure if it was Mariage d'Amore or other. Maria couldn't hide her excitement, this atmosphere was one she had always wanted to experience, and nothing could beat the joy she felt right now.
