The Scalpel Pointed Back

The Scalpel Pointed Back

"I knew she was a good person. Don't get caught, Dr. Carpenter." Michael, sprawled in a pool of blood, was still breathing. Monica checked his pulse. "Hanna is a pro. Every stab missed the vitals." The timer hit zero, screeching like a banshee. Monica silenced it and waved to the camera. "Show's over. The kidney is found. Thanks, everyone. Bye." As the stream cut, the police swarmed in, slamming Monica to the floor. Anthony loomed over her. "Where is Hanna? She is gone from my brother's hospital."

The Compound (The Compound series book1)

The Compound (The Compound series book1)

“Seriously what's going on?” “Just wait a minute.” I muttered before finally pulling the maps I wanted off the shelves. And opening them out on the table before us. “Have any of us accounted for this?” I ask pointing to a spot on the map as the guys all crowd around staring at the paper at the one weak spot of the prison that none of us had accounted for because none of us had ever seen it. “Fuck.” Bubble stated his voice confirming my fears. “I'll get Wheeler and the chief.” Jake stated even as he was walking out of the room.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

He had enough on his plate, he had no need to be envious of others. “Looks like everyone’s here…” Maxim said slowly. He gave one more glance towards Zephyr, though he kept his stoicism throughout. “We won this match, so naturally we were rewarded for our efforts. Although some apprentices did not participate, I will not overlook your efforts. We have each received 100,000 points from Horizon Peak. Those that did not participate, will only receive 3000 points. Amber, though you were defeated, you will still be rewarded 5000 points…” Dewey spoke to the apprentices. After the points were awarded, Maxim signalled for the apprentices to leave.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

After the Breaking Point

After the Breaking Point

Patient. He picked it up slowly. Claire’s handwriting stared back at him—neat, careful, unmistakably hers. She had always written like that. Precise. As if every letter mattered. A strange tightness formed in his chest. He broke the seal. Something slid into his palm. Metal. Cool. Familiar. Fabian froze. The wedding ring lay there, glinting faintly in the light filtering through the window. For a moment, his mind refused to make sense of it. He turned it slightly between his fingers, recognition dawning with painful clarity.

this is one of the best novels that I have read. yes there were typos and a few blurbs but even with that and a proper publisher it would be an outstanding buy for my bookshelf. I would recommend this to anyone. my mind was so connected to the characters that I cried a couple times too many, lol.

Frequently Asked Questions

I was browsing online just last week looking for 'Match Point' myself, and I found it pretty easily in both formats! The paperback version is available on major retailers like Amazon and Barnes & Noble, often with a few different cover designs depending on the edition. The ebook is even more accessible—Kindle, Kobo, Google Play Books, you name it. I love having both options because sometimes I want the feel of a physical book, and other times I need the convenience of digital when I'm traveling.

If you're into collecting, some older paperback editions might have cool cover art or annotations, so it’s worth checking used bookstores or sites like AbeBooks. The ebook usually comes with adjustable font sizes and highlights, which is great for late-night reading. Either way, 'Match Point' is totally out there waiting for you!
