Love and Lament
“If I’m not giving away the details, it means, that I want it to be a surprise.”
“I hate surprises.” I said.
“Lies every girl in the world.” He said.
So, as he mentioned, I haven’t really hated his surprise. He brought me to the woods, where I could see nothing but tall, hovering trees. I smiled at the sight of a small Brook flowing through the trees as we walked on further. We rested near a rock and Brett handed me his book and pen.
“Do you like math?” He asked.
I slowly shook my head.
“Guessed it.” He said, sitting down beside me, “We’re going to learn about trigonometry.”
