Mighty Dragon Properties had its eyes on this piece of land for a while now, why made them give up? Something that belonged to them was gone without them knowing at all. Maxima chuckled and said, “Mighty Dragon Properties is not being generous, and it is not that we do not want this piece of land anymore. But Mr. Mayo here is very forthright and offers one billion dollars for this piece of land. Mighty Dragon Properties does not have the financial backing to compete with him.” One billion dollars?

I realise now, that throwing insults at him won't help me at all in my situation. But why the heck didn't I think of that before I opened my mouth in anger. I scolded myself.

They disappear from the lights as I reach over for the next crest in line. "Corentin Keanu," I start, looking at the young man as he walks onto the stage, follow by three others. "Clementine Mira. Chadd Owen. Honey Aatish."

She caresses her hairs "But I promised you that I won't fall weak. I will be the strongest support of our daughter, as a mother and father both." She kisses on her forehead. He sucked in and puffed out the smoke rhythmically, all the while keeping an eye out for the black Chevvy he had been following earlier. He didn't understand what exactly was the observation his Miss had for the rich boy. So far as Max could tell, apart from being stinking rich and (unfairly, in Max's opinion) being blessed with the features of a demigod, he had nothing else going for him. He was incredibly boring and did nothing but work. Hell, in all Max's years of following him around, he had never even seen him interact with women. Perhaps he was one of them rainbow Rguys that Max had been hearing about, but Max had never seen him with a man either.
