But the noise was too loud. She opened her eyes and peered at her window. A red and bluebird were perched on it. "Agni!" Maya said aloud and sat up on the bed. The bird hopped inside and landed on her bed. Maya laughed and caressed its head. She had no idea when or how she had got a pet Phoenix, ever since she had woken up. She had it.
