My Husband's Double Life

My Husband's Double Life

“They’re letting go of sequence.” The Observer pattern flickered rapidly. “Ordinal identity structures entering optional state.” The Interferer followed. “Ordinal identity structures entering optional state.” Silence tightened. Not with pressure. With significance. Because if identity no longer required distinction— and continuity no longer required explanation— then perhaps order itself no longer required preservation. The three “I”s remained. Yet the concepts of first, second, and third were fading. Not erased. Optional. Emma felt the implications immediately. Without sequence— possibility could organize itself in entirely new ways.

There was a flicker of suspicion, but he didn't press any further. The nurse returned, carrying a tray of food. "Eat. You need your strength," Chris said as he gestured for the nurse to place the tray on the bedside table. "If you need anything, just let me know." With that, he and Serena left the room. Despite my lack of appetite, I forced myself to finish the meal. My phone had been left in the woods, so I borrowed the nurse's phone to call Adam. Just like before, he hung up! "He probably didn't recognize the number," I told the nurse, though I knew I was only trying to reassure myself.

Called by the Dragon

Would she have to choose all over again? Oza found what he was looking for, and he pushed his messy black curls from his forehead with an impatient jerk before standing again. After shaking out the parchment sheet three flicks the way he always did even though there wasn’t a single rumple in the paper, he presented it for Anzi to take, and she received it with both hands to examine it.

The plot is thrilling from the start and I had to pace myself to avoid reading through the night. I often wanted to dive into the characters' minds myself to punch some sense into them, proof of how perfectly Mana designed them. This book deserves a thousand stars, not the mere five GN allows.

That was one epic adventure. The world was rich, detailed, full of amazing characters, and the story drew me in its tight grip and never let me go. I am a true fan of this author, it's characters, and it's story line. This was a true experience.

Don't break the contract

Don't break the contract

Grace looked at her with contempt, making Harry uncomfortable with both of them at the same time. "Well, I don't want arguments and even less at breakfast time, have you had breakfast? Or would you rather I tell Genesis to bring you a dish?" "Thank you, my love, I haven't had breakfast, it will be a pleasure to join you." Harry calls Genesis to bring a plate of fruits and protein to Grace, who starts talking like crazy, leaving them with a pending conversation, and it wasn't just for breakfast time, he did it almost all morning, harry had some specific hours of therapy and medication delivery and for his brain not to suffer consequences he had to do it by obligation.

THE GLASS WIFE; the storm he built himself

THE GLASS WIFE; the storm he built himself

Order Matters. "It's the box." Eliot called out, coming close. "The clusters from earlier, their digits. They're correct, but the sequence is wrong." "Yeah," I nodded slowly, "ORDER MATTERS. THE FIRST IS NOT FIRST. It has to be the arrangements. But what is the right order?" We leaned in close, Eliot holding unto the box too. Our other competitors around us long forgotten as we put in our mind and focus on the task at hand. The box.

Hey guys, thank you much for reading but please there's a problem. I noticed there's always a repeated chapter and I've been trying to fix that. Right now Chapter 121 is repeated, I think? So in other to fix that I uploaded a current chapter to replace that very one.

It’s so refreshing seeing a book that the female lead doesn’t just simply back down but tries to stand her ground. I can’t wait to see how Selene handles everything, especially with Eliot and his annoying mistress

"What are we calling this part of the record?" Maya paused, the pencil hovering a millimeter above the paper. She tilted her head up, her eyes catching the amber refraction of the sunset leaking through the East River windows. "It isn't a record, Julian. A record is static. It’s what you keep when something is already dead and sorted into a ledger. This is a manual." "A manual for what?"

Should demand she cancel the order again and actually mean it this time. But what would that accomplish?
