She finally says moving her eyes away and settles it on the dirty window that overlooks the forest. The greenery was beautiful there was no doubt about it.But it was certainly not the least welcoming with what lies within it. I had a feeling the witch Rue mentioned named Mericel was very powerful to even create such a place that we read in fairytale books. But then again humans thought us wolves, witches and vampires were just myths. Her eyes drew back to me and this time they glinted with an emotion I never thought I would see in their depths. She felt sorry, she felt my pain. She hid it well but I could surely see it. I could feel it.

With a soft, mesmerizing voice, she finally broke the silence. “What have you come for, hybrid? Tell me, what is the reason for your visit? What brought you to my cabin hidden in the forest?” Maya looked at the witch, that incredibly powerful being and holder of valuable information. Among all the beings in the magical world, witches had always fascinated Maya. This particular witch was surprisingly beautiful, with white skin that had a tan from the sun, dark brown eyes that sparkled with intriguing wisdom, and a symmetrically drawn face that inspired confidence.

Kate POV Getting Amelie to sleep was a treat. She had her ice cream for dessert and the sugar kept her going longer than usual. She was super excited that she had met a real, live witch today. Getting closer, the crow knocked Earnestine and she rolled over leaving Janeka to face the hideous monster. Just as the book described, the crow looked exactly like it. She pushed her arms forward, raising her voice as she continued chanting, but it was not effective. She felt her body hit the wall when the monster punched her, and she slid down passing out. Marius and Lelia laughed at Justin, he was only making a fool out of himself

God better that bandana is clean, that’s what I hope internally as I glare at him one last time through my moistened lashes. The driver opens the door yanking me out which I didn’t cause any trouble. David gets out from the car right behind me in fear of me running away. I mentally laugh at the thought that how afraid they look being the werewolves as I am a mere witch who didn’t posses any powers yet. “Alpha is waiting eagerly for this chick”, driver chuckles wickedly as my skin gets pricked with goosebumps. At my peripheral view I can see her authoritative look...she looked like a woman who can make a mafia boss bow down to her alluring looks. I find her beautiful whenever she's serious and she's adorably cute when she's acting out her young age. She has a tiger eye look, fierce yet sexy eyes. Her skin is like snow whites', it's like milk. Her lips... I don't want to describe it because it triggers something in my memory.

Rule no 5 in the witches book of rules : Never lie to a moon witch. Maryah muttered some words and pointed her index finger at me. I saw the current sizzle at her finger tip and but my button lip.
