Two guards were at the either side of the huge carved door almost reaching its ceiling. Ryan removed the black glass from his eyes and put it back in its previous place. He then extended his hand towards Maze dragging her out of her reverie. Maze smiled nervously as she allowed him to hold her hand and then they both entered through the door that was opened by the gatekeepers. As they stepped inside, Maze hitched in her breath. She exhaled audibly, her eyes widened at the sight of such a huge collection of books. The exterior was completely made of wood. No touch of cement was there, at least not visible to the bare eyes.

Manang Lydia said. “Does she allow that?” Manang Lydia smiled and winked at me. “If you are feeling fine, then you can.” I went upstairs and went to Dale’s library. Before picking up a book to read, I enjoyed looking, rooming around first, leaving a gentle touch to every book I passed by. My gaze at the “The Scorch Trial” book that was written by James Dashner. I already finished reading “The Maze Runner”. I decided to read it and went to the garden.

“Yes sir!” the men replied. Once more, Zephyr laid his eyes on the books, his gaze rested on one of them. The book was covered in a layer of dust and was made of bamboo. It looked unique. “Thunderfoot?” Zephyr muttered as he opened the book, reading its contents. A wave of excitement washed over him. He excitedly flipped through the pages, carefully memorizing the technique’s intricate steps.

I asked with little curiosity. A boy like him shouldn't be tied to the Temple. "No, another item will replace its position. But no worries, I love my job." The book had a sorcerer’s wand coloured violet on the cover. A blue smooth bookmark was attached to it. The book's edges looked like silver but felt like liquid mercury. "You can take the shortcut at the end of this room." "Thanks," I mouthed out. I walked to the other end of the room and placed my hand on the wall, waiting for something to happen.

I opened it and found myself entering a smaller version of the library downstairs. There was no swirling staircase going up, up, up, rather walls full of books, some of which were only accessible via the sliding ladder off to the side. With my stomach full and heart heavy, I waltzed over to one of the shelves and scanned them, intending to pick a book at random. One in particular drew my eye. The cover was made of dark leather, embossed with a swirling gold font that was a bit hard to read. Tendrils of flame, interwoven with threads of shadow, danced up the spine and around the back.

But when she pulled it free, her breath stopped. The book was unlike anything she had ever seen. Its cover was bound in leather so dark it seemed almost black, though in the right light it shimmered faintly with hues of deep crimson. Strange symbols—curved, jagged, and foreign—were etched into its surface, pressed deep into the hide like scars. No title marked its spine. A lock, thin and ancient-looking, sealed its pages.

He was tense, yet guarded. Mira’s fingers brushed the book’s strange, metallic binding. It was warm, almost alive. Her breath caught when the cover shifted under her touch, symbols lighting up in a soft glow—cool blue at first, then gold, then white-hot silver. The ancient runes shimmered across the surface, forming a spiral before parting like a curtain. Inside, a single handwritten passage shimmered faintly, ink glowing in an ethereal shade of moonlight. She'd never seen this before.

Just a crescent white moon etched in the center of the cover. My fingers close around it. It’s cold. I glance back at Alex and Ava. They’re speaking in low voices, Alex watching her like a hawk. Good. I open the book, flipping through pages quickly. Hand written text in cursive with black and white pictures of symbols, and unknown diagrams fills the worn page. I squint my eyes and look through the small text until I find what I'm looking for. Mana Wolves. The words almost glow on the page. My heart skips a beat. This is it.

Logan has been having a rough go he tagged the wall in warm ups. Next up is time trials Evan drew to go first which isn’t great.he had an okay time but he won’t know how he really did until the end. Logan comes out in the 2nd group. His time wasn’t as good as Evan’s but he was in the top 10 in the group. Evan start 3rd in the 2nd heat race and Logan starts 7th in the 4th heat race. I know he is pissed but he can make it up.
