The demon wolf’s Affair
Mia is the reason why this hellish castle has become bearable and despite her erratic attitude the last time I saw her, I owe her some thanks.
Now, I find my frustration levels rising as I try to hand my message over to the courier. I’ve finally penned a message to Aden, filled to the brim with lies about how comfortable it is here in the castle. I’ve told him not to worry about me, that I’m to get a monthlong break once every moon year and I will find him. Now, I just need this blockheaded wolf to take the message.
“Git out of ‘ere, scamp.” He growls and prods at me with a finger. “I’m a royal courier, not a messenger for the servants.”
