All the Feels

All the Feels

I will miss our trips to the nearby pool, We'd rather read books there and pretend to be cool, I want to say goodbye one more time and cry with one more kiss, Goodbye, my mother, it's you I will forever miss, When the storms fill my eyes, and all the feels make me cry, I'll remember your sweet lullabies as I say, 'Goodbye. Jeremy leaves the microphone, and everyone next to me pats my back. I never knew what to say at funerals. Poems were the only words that made sense to me. Of course, they don't make sense to other people, but to me, that poem wasn't for them. The sparrow in the tree spreads its wings and flies out into the clouds. I know deep down that's the last time I will ever see that

Touch Me While I Taste You

Touch Me While I Taste You

"Which is exactly why I need to see your weak points so we could come up with a solution to help you get better." His blue-eyes scan the room. "Lost, love, hope. Good poetry isn't what we think, it is what one feels. You can't write a piece if it doesn't move you, make you feel. When it does-" For a shocking second Mr. Boyds lips tilted into a smile, as though recalling a good memory in his head. "Then that's good poetry."

Love this book. But I'm just puzzled, I finished reading this book a few months ago. I opened it to read again but to my surprise, it was back to lock. Why? I already paid it but why back to locked chapters? That's unfair

I read this book in a matter of days. y'all Demiah13 does not disappoint when it comes to her novels. I literally wish they would make them movies. She can make you feel like you are right there with the characters. You get lost in their chemistry. I could not put this book down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Poor Husband's Betrayal

Poor Husband's Betrayal

"Stay strong in the face of sorrow, As flowers keep blooming in the dry season, Give a smile to every difficulty that comes, Because behind every test, there is a valuable lesson. The rains and storms are only temporary, Wait for the dazzling rainbow to come, Keep moving forward, Because one day you will know how valuable reward is. In life, there is no success without struggle. Be patient if your struggle is longer and harder than others. Be confident that you can conquer all challenges and achieve success." Raisa listens carefully to the poems that have accompanied her loneliness, as if giving a special spirit to a sad soul. In the silence of the night, my heart was cut, An invisible wound

Tenderness is a Dangerous Thing

Tenderness is a Dangerous Thing

she said with a light smile and opened the Poetry Anthology to the poem. ‘Coloured’ By De Wet Life starts with colour With a sort of spirit Only a child can give A parent is brightened By the mere presence the light projected But after time That colour fades Dimming Like a worn out jean A ghost Heavy and burdened Uncertain Seeking guidance Purpose Love But once found Once explored Colour returns to life And is reflected and spread

Midnight Between Us

Midnight Between Us

A young couple clumsily dancing in a tiny, cramped apartment under warm lamplight. Millions of moments. Tiny moments. Beautiful moments. Completely ordinary moments. The Devourer visibly recoiled, its conceptual weight shifting away from the light. Because those small, fragile scenes contained a localized density it could not break down or comprehend. Meaning. Not a grand, overarching cosmic destiny, but deeply personal meaning. Human meaning. The literal reason existence mattered in the first place. The Creator's eyes shone with tears of pure starlight. "Look at them," they whispered into the void. "Look at what survived the dark."

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

Miranda continued, "Not to mention Bob Frost's poem, 'Tea is a religion of the art of life,' and a verse by Emma Dickson, 'There is something in the nature of tea that leads us into a world of quiet contemplation of life.' "The poets of old have passed on, but we are still here. We gather here not just to enjoy the taste of tea but to find the reflections of life and the truth of existence within this activity. "Lastly, I leave you with this phrase, 'Life is like a cup of tea. It's all in how you make it.' May all of us learn to live life to the fullest! Thank you."

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

The poem goes like this: “They said you came looking for me. I didn't drown; I was the water." I don't know if that makes sense to you as much as it made sense to me. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful poem written by someone who understands human beings and life in a special way that I and you who has read the poem don't understand. I am not going to waste my time to talk about atheism or to debate about the loopholes of religion. I will leave it for a Sunday when I have the time and strength to actually put a lot of efforts in airing my view for all of you to be complacent with yourself while keeping in mind that my motives are purely intended to bring good and not to cause harm as some of yo

My Cursed Sadistic Alpha : Sebastian’s Curse

My Cursed Sadistic Alpha : Sebastian’s Curse

Carolina. It was written by Sebastian's mother. "When life becomes meaningless....poetry heals."— 5th January, 1994. I put the book back in its place before I moved on to finding the previous book I left unread. "I thought I was never going to find a new reason to live, but it seems like I finally have a reason to keep fighting. A little soul is growing inside of me, I am going to be a mother."— 18th June 1994.

Rules of Glory: The Last Alpha

I didn't expect that. "That's a really sad book," I say. "You've read it," she straightens up a little. I nod. "And the other one?" "My mom gave it to me," she tightens her hold on it. "Poems, by Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Ernest Hartley Coleridge. Do you know him?" "Yeah. No man was ever yet a good poet, without being at the same time a profound philosopher. I read Poems for an assignment in school," "You went to school?" she all but shouts. I'm taken aback by her outburst.

The Beta's Daughter

The Beta's Daughter

She smoothed down her wild plaits as she took a seat next to me. “I think you two should have a look at this,” I said, pulling out the crumpled poem and drawing given to me from Aron. “I want some fresh eyes on it. Four are better than two,” I added with a shrug. “I think it means something. Perhaps it’s a warning, that Aron didn’t feel he could share in person. I mean – it might just be a poem. But it might not.” “Okay,” said Nami, her brows furrowing as she nodded. “Let’s see it.”
