I look everywhere but no one is there except, me in the pool. “Amelia must be in the shower,” I murmur panicked leaving the waters and walking towards the changing room. What was that? Was I hallucinating? My whole body shivered as I turned on the shower to cold so that I, can feel calm. The words in the note repeat in my head like a loop trying to interpret what they could mean. “The flower spread the poison,” I murmur. Something, so beautiful yet deceptive enough to kill you. Is, that, what it meant? But that’s what poems are, they could have a different meaning to different people.

Such poems help people to see they are not alone in their struggles and that it is possible to overcome their problems. We are the sum of experiences that we encounter as we go through life. Day to day struggles and triumphs are experienced by all of the world's creatures. As human beings, when we encounter a challenge, we have freedom to choose how to react. Every decision that we make leads us down a different road. We will never come to exactly the same crossroads. Every decision that we make has significance. The tiniest choice that we make reverberates throughout the entire universe.

I asked out of curiosity, I really want to know the next line. “Hmmm… I don’t really… remember as it… was just song… by the bards… but it goes… like this… “Easy comes, easy go's. A flower bed, a garden rose. Tress are dancing, wind is gushing. Birds are singing, snakes are grinning.” That is a weird poem, it doesn't seem to have any meaning. I kept wondering who the author was and what was in his mind when he wrote that. "Do you know who wrote non Droon?"

The conversation is lively and interesting, and it's clear that the three students are passionate about their project. The students' project is all about finding out what makes people happy. They're curious about what makes life meaningful, and what gives people a sense of purpose. After asking a few questions, Emma says, "You know, one of the things we've noticed is that sometimes the most meaningful moments in life are the little things. Like a conversation with a stranger, or a beautiful sunset, or a moment of laughter with friends. Would you say that's true for you?" The most astonishing thing was that every title tried to minister to me so much more that I was confused. There is a poem titled 'HOPE', there was 'VAGUE AS AIR', 'DEATH AND IT'S PEACE' and other incredible poems all written by Trevor. I read each poem and felt as if he was talking to me directly. His choice of words, sentence construction and presentation of life scenarios embedded in words is just beautiful. Now this guy was not just a devilishly handsome man with a great sense of humor but a writing god. Then I came across the piece I termed my best. I read it over and over again muttering each line. The poem is titled 'SPEAK TO YOURSELF' and it reads thus...

“The sentence does not make sense at all.” “Would you mind standing and elaborate what you meant by your answer?” he was no longer smiling. “I am sorry, Sir.” Yana stood. “Well, the sentence may have constructed well but the meaning or the semantic value is near to meaningless. How could be that possible to have a colorless green description for the ideas? the verb phrase, Sir, does not carry a meaningful thought because it does not fit, I believe, on the furiously as the adverb and I thank you.” The class clapped their hands.

I didn’t know that I meant so much to her that my death would affect her as much as she said. The poem she wrote to me still lingers in my mind as I recall my heart beating to every word that her poetry entailed. The poem goes as follows:

" LAW pertains to DANWEL GUN pertains to LANDER GOLD pertains to SHAUN PEN pertains to who? That frame under that dirty cloak, I found a picture. Three people were there. The young, maybe 14-year- old versions of these old geezers were resting in that wooden frame. At the back of the picture frame was the POEM etched on the board. They were three people there but the poem says, FOUR SOULS. I noticed that it was spontaneously taken, I wonder if the fourth person took it. NO, I've been missing the point. Those Books. Yes, that's it THOSE BOOKS, their genre, their moral lesson, and core values, there's something in it. Searching for meaning--- DEATH won't separate LOVE Behind the shadows--- MON

It can be an experience, a person, a person's experience or if you're interested, it could be your own downfall. To make it stand, it must ring truth and lessons in every line after every masterpiece. Create it as not for yourself, but for the people who you'd like to send the message to. It must not offend, but it must defend your thoughts for every reason that you have the right to speak. It must scar the senseless and bitter topics, leave it with unforgettable stabs, walk away with pride and a smile. It must bring meaning to another view of Poetry, a new story, angle,level, triumph and reality. More of an every-man pattern.
