Backup Plan

Backup Plan

Harris still has chickens, but I’m not sure what other farm animals they have now that the kids are grown. “I went out to dinner tonight and just happened to strike up a conversation with a producer. Of course you came up, and to make a long story short, they’re interested in getting you involved in an upcoming show. They’re putting a twist on medieval legends, based on a book written thirty years ago that ended on a huge cliffhanger. The author died before he got to finish it. Basically, they want to say the writer of the Shadowfall series is continuing the plot, as well as tweaking the original to be up to today’s standards of equal representation.” “Holy shit.”

Aligned Fantasy

Aligned Fantasy

His presence wasn’t loud, yet no one dared speak while he stood. Dressed in rich royal blue, every inch of him screamed regality, right down to his shining leather shoes. He stood before his pact—his chosen allies—not a pack. Enigmas could not hold other Enigmas in a traditional pack. Instead, they formed Pacts: elite alliances of power forged through synchronized pheromones. A ritual of dominance and mutual respect, where two high-ranking Enigmas bind their aura to others, marking them with a bond deeper than blood.

It's been long i read a book on third person POV, so it was confusing at first with the switch. but seriously this is a very nice book. and the fact is a male romance. I'm seriously shipping both of them and hopes taiga accept maya and Dante

This story pulls me right into a whirlwind of emotions—love, confusion, and heartache. The tension between Maya, Taiga, and Dante is so raw and real. A beautiful yet painful reminder of how miscommunication and hidden feelings can twist love into something complicated. I’m hooked!

Taming the Big Bad Alpha

Taming the Big Bad Alpha

From the inscriptions on the width of some of the books, they were history books, although some were written in some other foreign language. Picking out the blue book, I discovered it was a novel, like I had thought. It was titled 'Enchanted.' "Always loved fantasy novels..." I mumbled to myself, holding the book to my chest. I noticed though that the book's cover was stark, not like the usual books I read which usually had the pictures of a man or woman as its cover. But that didn't deter me. The name was interesting. My legs led me back to the board. A mystery to solve. I thought, biting my lips. I would have to tell Jeremy first. It would be nice to have some action and adventure here.

The Fantasy Maker

There were modern novels, too, including Stephen King and Sidney Sheldon, but they didn't look as well read as some of the others. Dante moved up behind her and gripped her shoulders, kneading them gently just as her fingers tripped over a copy of Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy. "You read a lot." "I do," he said. She slipped her fingers onto the shelf surface, her fingers making a mark in the thin layer of dust there. Just as she began to turn, she noticed another mark in the dust, as though something normally sat there but had been moved. "Why don't you," he began, pushing her back against the shelf, making it teeter slightly, "go take off some of these clothes while I change the sheet

HER PERFECT RUIN, HIS PERFECT REDEMPTION

HER PERFECT RUIN, HIS PERFECT REDEMPTION

he wiggled his eyebrows at me comically and I laughed, nodding. He grabbed one of the boxes swiftly and handed it to me. It was the biggest one because my tiny hands were barely keeping it in place. He had a lazy, urging smile that I found sexy playing on his lips. I looked away from him and unknotted the ribbons. I pried the cover open and my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as I retrieved the first book. "André!" I whisper-yelled, my voice laced with awe. Being a bibliophile had its perks because as I looked through the four books, with somewhat modern yet vintage covers in mature colours, alongside intricate golden threadings, I knew they were Fantasy books. Dark Romantasies.

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

Another cart of food was brought in, and we quickly dug in whilst getting back to sorting through the mountain of ancient tomes. After eating my fill of fruit tarts, and honeyed pastries, I plopped down on Azrael’s lap. Together we sat at the desk along the far wall, facing Orion who was seated on the sofa across the room. Nestled against his chest, his chin resting on my shoulder, I began to scan the pages he flitted through. Most were legends about the beasts and how they’d travel throughout the cosmos, both omniscient and immortal. The pages were littered with smaller stories about knights waging wars in their names, and kingdoms not of this world making sacrifices in hopes of receiving a

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

Blood and Moonlight

Blood and Moonlight

Eyes… deep crimson, the color of wine freshly spilled across marble. I didn’t just wake up in a different body. I woke up in a different world. And not just any world. One I knew far too well. I had read about this place before—in a book called Blood and Moonlight. A gothic fantasy where ancient vampire courts ruled the night from silvered palaces, where ruthless werewolf packs prowled the wild forests, and where an uneasy truce held between fangs and claws… until it inevitably shattered. It was a story of war. A story of betrayal. A story where love was as fatal as any blade.

How We End

How We End

I took a slice of pizza and bit into it, "So, what've you got so far?" "Okay…" Kyle drank from the coke bottle and placed it on the coffee table. He hit a few keys on his keyboard and said, "According to G****e, Medieval literature is any work written in Latin or the vernacular between c. 476-1500 CE, which includes philosophy, religious treaties, legal texts and works of the imagination." I typed the words his spoke into my laptop as he spoke, "So, we start with that before moving to the medieval romance." "Exactly." He looked at me, eating from his pizza slice. "What do you feel romance in the Medieval times was like?"

Saved For The Alpha

Saved For The Alpha

It reminds me of when the light catches the water back home by the stream. Spending hours at a time there, I would often dream of princes and princesses. Knights and everything else that goes with that kind of fantasy world. The only difference now, is that there is a political side that I never realized existed. Afterall, romance novels and the like don't usually get into politics and things that aren't fantasy.
