When Life Takes A Turn

When Life Takes A Turn

He was rendered completely speechless, shocked as he watched Zayn studying his sword. Zayn appeared to be very relaxed, as if he was taking an evening stroll. He did not look like he had just been in an intense fight. It was in stark contrast with Kairo’s shabbiness. Most importantly, Zayn had taken his sword. The sword was a swordsman’s second life, like an organ in the swordsman’s body. In all his years, no one had ever grabbed his sword! It showed how fearsome the Rheasian before him truly was!

I like the story so much. The plot is direct though. One can easily predict what's next. I like the heart of this guy Zayn. He can easily hide his happiness and endure torture, bullying and humiliation in the name of love. Love for a complacent woman.

His Only Reward

His Only Reward

Richard had a massive smile on his face for days. Fitness was only a small part of her training. Richard taught her the basics of sword fighting. She could now block, attack and even sometimes hit Richard in practice. Her favourite was sword was the Rapier, a long, light sharp sword. It was quick to move around and it suited Jamie’s personality. But, Richard had demanded that she learned the slash-oriented such as the Broad Sword. Richard expertly showed in one session, that the Rapier’s weakness was when an opponent got past its point. Jamie could hardly say “Well, your 8 pack is distracting me a lot!” Every time Richard got close to her to show a new move, she had to hold her breath to sto

The Dawn of the King

The Dawn of the King

he shouted The old man didn’t say a word and through the pump of his staff, there goes a ring with a red-like gem on it… and a sword? The sword was estimated to be around 3 feet long. I believe it is what they call the Joyeuse sword. It was arguably the most powerful sword the man has ever crafted. It was made by Charlemagne, a Frankish king out of gold and gem-encrusted hilt, the blade was forged from the same ore and metal that made Durendal, a sword wielded and is also one of the deadliest in the world. Legend has it, that the sword was forged by the infamous blacksmith legend Galas, who took three years to complete. Legends also stated that it possesses the spirit of the

Sword of Destiny

Sword of Destiny

My fingers are on my chin as I crouched and looked at it. The cover or the sheath was silver with a few pints of gold, I don't understand the engravings etched on it. Because of my curiosity, I held it and released it from its sheath. Unlike other sword, its blade was bluish and silver, the handle was wood in color and the cover was glass. It was not as heavy as it look. I lifted it up and swayed it... Imagining I was a samurai fighting some bad guys. I chuckled.

the old man asked. "I will hold the sword inverted with both hands gripping the blade. The pommel and crossguard will act as an impact point. Mordhau." William says with confidence. The old man is impressed by William's answer and replies with a wager on who will win. William took on the offer and bet for Eldric. He gave the gold pouch he got from Lenato, and the old man bet with the earning he got from selling his ale.

Dragon's Breath (Book One)

Dragon's Breath (Book One)

I duck low pulling my sword from my dress. Our swords clank, scraping together. I push the man back, catching him off guard, and kick him in the stomach. He rumbles to the ground with a thud. Standing over him, I kick his sword from his grasp. I stab through the man's thick metal armor hitting his heart ending his life in one nimble movement. Blood spurts out from the wound coating the bottom of my gown. The man wiggles for a few seconds, before falling completely limp. Digging my sword from the body, I take a step back.

The Forgotten - Book One of the Chronicles of Faynon

“Any good with swords?” “What t’ hell do you t’ink I do? Just horses and farming tools? I’m a metal smith. Not a damn butterfly. What do you want?” His accent meant he did not often pronounce the ‘th’ in his words and used just the letter ‘t’ instead. “Be nice,” Kenward murmured to the smith. “I was. I didn’t once bring yer mother’s reputation int’ question, my Lord.” Kemp handed over three single handed swords, one bearded axe and one broadsword.

He was also second to dad in contribution to every war that happened years ago when I was still not in this world. I heard he is already at 50s but still amazing in swords. He's definitely suited in this field. Just like in letter, in person his tounge is quite sharp and unlike what I expected, he's not that bulky but rather, you'll feel that he's dangerous and faced a lot of wars so you can't help but be intimidated.

Claimed By My Mate's Uncle

Claimed By My Mate's Uncle

There he was. Dominic stood in the center of the courtyard, surrounded by dozens of his massive, black-armored guards. He was shirtless in the freezing morning air, his sculpted, marble-like torso glistening with sweat as he swung a massive broadsword with terrifying, lethal precision. The jagged white battle scars across his back flexed with every brutal movement. He looked entirely savage, a god of war commanding his legions. As if sensing her gaze, Dominic suddenly brought his sword to a harsh halt.

The Fairy's Dragon Guardian

The Fairy's Dragon Guardian

“Since you are all courageous enough to follow my teachings, I invite you all to take out your wooden swords and follow after me. Remember that swordsmanship is not just a skill. You don’t fight with a sword – you become the sword itself.” Theodore twirled the sword in his hand. “Swordsmanship is the art of moving, with each motion precise, deliberate, and fluid like flowing water. The sword in your hand is not just some metal, but the extension of your will. To become one with the sword, you have to have a clear mind. It’s about timing, grace, and the perfect balance between patience and ferocity. When you strike, hesitation is the greatest enemy and doubt results in defeat.”
