Chapter 1: Alejandro's First Temptation Melanie sat in the middle of the large king-sized bed inside her luxurious penthouse in Los Angeles. At twenty-four years old, extremely wealthy from her family's fortune, she remained a virgin. It had been her fantasy for a long time. Using her money and connections, she secretly hired five stunning men for a special "competition."

Gillian hadn't disliked Archer before. She even admired him because he was so brilliant. She notices that March is struggling with her hair, she chuckles as she bends her head slightly, giving March access to her hair. Melanie's hair was packed in a tight ponytail. She strides inside the mini room that is inside the studio and changes back into her dress. March takes Melanie’s purse from the table and walks up to her. “I am your assistance,” March says with a beautiful smile on her face. “My name is March Tyler, I'm at your service.” She bows respectfully to her. Melanie smiles back at her. “I’m Melanie Watson.” Melanie smiles, bringing out her hand for a handshake.

That was the closest thing to comfort that I had felt in a long time, and I wanted to bask in it. As I sank my head into the velvet seat, I ran my head through the new things I had learned. I was alive. My name was Melanie Carter. I lost my daughter, Ellie. My husband was the murderer. And I was out for revenge.

There were people I trusted for situations that required discretion, and this was one of them. The line rang once before it connected. “Matteo,” I said, my tone returning to its usual clarity. “I need you to look into someone for me.” There was a brief pause on the other end, followed by a quiet acknowledgment. “Melanie Swan,” I continued. “I want everything you can find.
