I set my phone down, heart racing, a strange mix of nerves and excitement buzzing through me.
By 7 p.m., Max, Zoe, and I were walking into the arena, the place already buzzing with noise. The cold air hit my skin the moment we stepped inside, mixed with the sharp smell of ice and excitement.
