The Billionaire's Counterfeit Fiancee

The Billionaire's Counterfeit Fiancee

As she looked at her reflection, a tiny, buried fragment of a memory suddenly flashed in her mind. It wasn't a car crash or a hospital room. It was a memory of a small, sunlit office. An older man with graying hair—her father—was laughing, handing her a silver fountain pen. *“This company is your birthright, Lily,”* his voice echoed clearly in her mind. *“Never let anyone tell you that you don’t belong in that boardroom.”* Lily’s breath hitched. She gripped the edge of the vanity, her vision blurring as the memory faded as quickly as it had arrived. It was the first real piece of her past that had returned without someone else telling her about it.

I loved this story. It is the prefect story about love and how love really isn't perfect ;but can be as long as it is worth it and worked at. The only thing that would make this story better is a little editing to fix some of the typos. Otherwise, I highly recommend this book to everyone. GREAT READ

Once up on an Us

Once up on an Us

I explained everything to her in a rush. "Why is this happening?" I asked after. "These things take time. His brain is still trying to process things and piecing his life together. Just be patient and do not rush him." She stated. "But how long will it take, a day, a month, a year, never? He is in there talking about his ex, someone he hasn't seen in years. He can't remember me who is his wife and still thinks he's engaged to her." Surprisingly she pulled me into a hug, then pulled back, "I have seen these things all the time, you just have to stick by him. Trust me, I have experienced it with my own family. My sister regained her memory in a week." She winked.

Can it be us

Can it be us

With every note, memories flooded my brain and it felt like I was back to being 6 again, it was before all the quarrelling begun, before my mother no longer cared for my feelings and only concentrated on what the world and my grandparents thought of her, it was before my father left, it was when he would read me bed time stories and dance ballroom with me while my mother practiced what he had taught her on the piano, it was when I felt what true happiness was. “Great piece.” A voice reached my ears and I immediately snapped back to reality. Wiping off the tears that had rolled down my cheeks, I turned to face the source of the voice, it was Samoan’s youngest daughter. “Thank you.” I mumbled

Memoir of Summer

Memoir of Summer

"Preliminaries start in summer in Japan. If we are unable to attend, you can stay a little longer to see the start of the Spring Tournament." His eyes widened, then he broke into a small smile. "Thank you." It's not that he was opposed to going back to Japan, nor didn't he want to go either. There was just something unsettling for him to go back without a proper memory of what happened. He was rather afraid of the responses he would get.

In Loving Memory

In Loving Memory

Because of that Debbie was still wrong about remembering their names. "You're..." Debbie tried to remember the face of her seatmate who was very familiar but forgot the name, even though it felt on the tip of her tongue. They were in the same group at the orientation periode. "Amy." she said. "Oh yes, Amy." Debbie smiled, the memory of the incident when school orientation replayed in her mind... No―no flashback needed. If possible, Debbie wants to erase the memory of the dark incident in the closed room. Until now she feels grateful and indebted to upperclassmen who managed to save them.

The Price Of Us

The Price Of Us

And I meant it when I said, “We won’t forget.” Later, as we walked back to our room, the cool night air brushing our skin, Anna leaned her head on my shoulder. “We’re really leaving,” she said. “Yeah,” I murmured. “But we’re not running anymore.” Tomorrow, we’d fly home. To New Zealand. ANNA POV. The sun broke gently over the hills of Tuscany, painting golden streaks across the windows as if the estate itself was trying to hold us back, begging for one more moment.

Amnesia

Zach looked down at his phone afterwards and had a soft smile on his face. “Forever, Aria.” He said quietly. “Forever.” I repeated. “Aria! Wake up!” Hands were shaking my shoulders and my eyes slowly opened to see Ethan leaning over the center console. “Sorry, I can’t control when they come,” I told him. “When what comes, is it your memories?” He asked. “Yes, I had another one,” I informed him with a nostalgic smile. That was the sweetest memory I’ve had yet. “Tell me,” he said.

Hated by All, Exposed by System: My Memories Revealed

Hated by All, Exposed by System: My Memories Revealed

“Host, they owe you a debt. It is time they paid it back.” Then its body slowly turned transparent. “Memory extraction complete. “Memory Broadcast Protocol activated.” Before I could tighten my fingers around its tiny paw, the last of its energy burned out. It dissolved into a wisp of pale smoke and vanished without a trace. With everything it had left, the System began broadcasting my memories. The screen in the morgue went black. When it lit up again, it was playing a memory from the year I turned ten. Back then, I had been hiding behind a door.

UNTIL YOU REMEMBER ME

UNTIL YOU REMEMBER ME

More personal. “I wish I remembered us,” I admit softly. Adrian doesn’t look surprised. “I know.” “It would make this easier.” “Not necessarily.” I frown slightly. “Why not?” “Because memory doesn’t guarantee trust.” “And lack of memory does?” “No.” “Then what does?” He studies me for a long moment. “Time.” The answer is simple. Honest. And somehow that honesty makes my chest ache. I look down briefly. “When you said you’d make me fall in love with you again…”
