Kaldar wakes up after his impurification, now reborn as a vampire, and having no memories of his past except for the fact that he was a dying cancer patient. He soon learns that he was reborn not only as a vampire but as a rare alpha-specie called the Supremes, which are more highly advanced than the ordinary vampire. As a vampire he is supposed to be stoic yet he finds himself falling in love with a human girl named Dawn, which eventually causes him to a fellow vampire for the first time. He has to decide between his human lover, his aspiration to find out about his past life and the higher court.
