Taming the Fire Dragon
I finally pull my face away from Yhendorn’s chest, looking at Anala.
“We’ll do everything we can to protect Ember and the others. I just ... I feel like as a fire dragon, she’s the one who is most likely to get caught up in her rider’s angry, hateful emotions,” I say, reaching out to Anala.
She takes my hand and squeezes it. “Thankfully, we have mates we can trust, mates who know how to calm the raging fire inside us,” she says, looking at Vaeril.
“Only when necessary,” he says, stroking his fingers over her cheek.
