34 – Lauren Meridian Water The darkness felt like a cloak wrapped around my thoughts. The spell casting had drained me, not just physically but emotionally too. I sat on the edge of the bed, my hands resting on my knees, as I stared at the faint moonlight seeping through the window. Dark magic left marks on me—not visible to others but etched deep into my soul. A part of me resisted the shadows that lived within me. I felt like an intruder in my own body. Even as a renegade from the Kingdom of Umbra, I wasn’t a creature of darkness, and now my mind was at war with itself.

“I’m just looking.” He wasn’t just looking. His right hand slid lower, between her legs, and she felt the blunt pressure of his fingers trying to push between her folds. She was dry from fear, and the touch burned. He forced one finger inside her anyway, short and rough. Mira’s breath left her in a sharp sound. “Tight,” he muttered. “Even better.”

And how did it differed from the magic she knew. “This,” Fenryn then continued, “is why our mages are under tight restrictions. Their magic is born of the old Gods, and it is because of this; that they are easily possessed by them.” This man continued to surprise her with the vast knowledge he possessed. Just who was he, really? “The Malruthiia.” She said quietly, “that is what we call those who live with the humans.” Though she explained this, her true attention was still upon the sword. The more she looked at it, the more she thought she understood.

Conri went on and sat down "They took my mother when I was just a little boy. I'm sure you've heard of how Greiner used to be our home?" Nuala's eyes widened and she listened to him tell the story of how the fairies had gotten rid of all female werewolves. She felt sorry for him, of course she knew the story too but they were taught at Greiner that all werewolves were dangerous and a serious threat to all Fairies and so it was fair in her mind but after listening to Conri and being in his presence, she realized they weren't as they were described.

However, the weird part is that their bodies start to rise from the ground surrounded by some dark green energy slithering toward them and molding their bodies and creating some missing parts of their body, transforming them into some sort of beast like wolves, after some time, all villagers

After resting a little bit inside the library, recuperating mana and trying to not get all emotional from those memories, I used the Evil Eyes combined with the Read and Mental affinities on all the books inside the library and the information I got from the Pandora system This combination made it easy to read and memorize the information and knowledge delivered through the pages and the chapters, it was so easy and surprising how astronomical my perception and concentration was… I am proud to call this new ability of mine that can see through everything even the memories of the mana: [Evil Eyes of Clairvoyance]! The first magic I could use by combining two affinities and using the evil eyes

‘Nope’ I yelled back, my eyes not leaving the sight of books, I walked past but then stopped, something grazed from my fingers, I stepped back and tried to find what it was, it felt like something pricked on my finger. ‘I felt too, something very strong touched me’ Irene mumbled, my eyes anxiously looking for it again when they locked at one book. ‘Legacy of White Wolf’ I quietly murmured those words and water gathered in my eyes as if something stung into it. The emotions right now were foreign, I was unable to understand them, but they were overwhelming. My hand was tracing the title.

This was just because he was a fragile rabbit beastman, while I was the clan’s only strong Spirit Fox with nine lives. My parents preferred him, and even my fiancée felt sorry for him. I was the one who had to shoulder all their grievances. Stung by the scorn in my eyes, Rowena snapped, "Just think about what you've done. You don't have any other choice, anyway." After she left, I wandered downstairs, lost in thought. Suddenly, I received a love token from the serpent clan. It was a crystal flute from an auction I had not won. Warmth filled me. Maybe marrying Chloe Douglas would not be such a bad thing after all.

I felt said brother stirring beside me and went back to reading the note before he snatched it from me. Dear Twins, If you haven’t figured it out, this book is a fairytale rewrite of Robin Hood and a mature reverse harem book. Though you have to at least try a bit because it’s expected. I’ll be at the castle trying to steal the treasure while you take on the train. What is going to happen at the castle? Well, you’ll find out soon enough. If I just tell you the story, it will ruin all the surprises. I will tell

My soul ignites afresh at that sight. Destiny is so close to getting all I've ever wanted permanently, and I will not allow that. I straighten in my seat and grit out steadily, "Give me the poison." Merlin pauses for a moment, her shadow phantom's eyes on me as she watches me. The silence holds for a while until she breaks it. "What kind of poison?" A devious smile pulls at the corner of my lips. "Something slow and painful. I want her to die in pain and anguish."
