"They have, ever since she was born." Cassandra set the little serpent among the piles of gold coins. The creature sagged in defeat and exhaustion after lying before that terrible fire. "There it is," Vasilisa's voice came from behind a mountain of walnut-sized raw rubies. It wasn't hard to find the book. It was placed on a golden stand in between two golden Sirin statues. The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing.

As Christian spoke of this, he took a sip of wine and said to Merlin, “So, can you understand why I’m such a fool to be willing to spend more than three hundred billion US dollars to buy the Rejuvenating Pill? With it, the old man would finally be relieved…” Merlin did not say anything. He simply filled up his cup with wine and drank it all in one gulp before he said guiltily, “I’m sorry, Christian. I have a foul mouth. Please don’t mind me.” Christian waved his hand and smiled as he said, “I’ve known you for so many f*cking years. How could I still not know what kind of temper you have?” Merlin nodded and asked him, “So, what’s your next plan?”

Alexis was standing in the Terminus looking at the Departure Board and frowning, ‘Why the fuck does she want to go to Cornwall? He wondered out loud turning to Morgana, ‘Alexis, do you not know your history of England? Have you never heard of King Arthur and the Great Warlock Merlin?’ Alexis shook his head smiling, ‘Are you going to give me a history lesson now Morgana?’ He chuckled and she frowned back at him not amused,

Demetrius had this gleam in his eyes, knowing that she was asking questions that she didn't want to know the answers to, that maybe Arianna shouldn't if she wanted to have any restraint. Demetrius' eyes darkened for a split second before he said, "Thousands of years ago, Merlin was a powerful witch that was part of a coven named, 'The Seniorem Coven'. Merlin made an immortality elixir for him and his fiancée who was apparently a wolf to drink so they could be together for eternity. It turned out to be a trick when Merlin drank the elixir with Amara the wolf, which made him the first MONGREL, the wolf and the witch. Merlin' plan to live forever with Amara hit the fan when a vampire named Adon

The Paradoxical Medieval Realm was a replica of the 15th century of the mortals' medieval time, a piece of a timeline broken and turned into an abandoned multiverse existing outside the current timeline. It was made by The Great Merlin, who sacrificed himself to trap Jagger and every other Dark Mythic. The Realm honed no mortal, which left the Alpha Vampires to starve to death. So one by one, his army reduced in numbers. And the sun was always open, either day or night. So the Alphas couldn't walk out if they wanted to. This was Merlin's punishment. And gruesome it is. However, they found a fatal flaw within Merlin's endless spell.

"Initiating multi-tier registration override. Target file: The Aurelian Court." A deep, subterranean thrum echoed through the mountain roots as the Assessor drove the points of its scissors directly into a massive, unrefined vein of magical grease running along the cavern floor. Instantly, the white-blue light on the cavern walls began to bleed. The ancient Aurelian runes didn't turn amethyst this time; they were systematically stripped of their color, turning a cold, sterile slate-grey as the machine's corrupted editing logic raced up the mountain's roots like a virus.

I'd mumbled against her skin, wanting the moment to last. And now she's carrying my son. As far as the doctors are concerned, I have a healthy baby boy... We aren't sure what he will be yet. Selene is a siren, but Levi ended up being a dragon. On the other hand I'm from a family of witches, or warlocks. But either way, for all I know he could end up being some sort of hybrid, which would totally rock!

His red eyes deepened, indicating his desire to sort things out. "One of the book of history has gone missing last night. The Book of Creation. And then this morning, it is found on its shelf again. Not a piece was taken nor changed," Merko said. I had been to their library a couple of times and had seen that book. However, due to my very busy schedule, I could not read it since I have to prioritize knowing more about potions. "It is not allowed to take the books out of the bibliotheca. How come that it has gone missing? Who was patroling last night?" Yamiko asked.

There, in the center of the clearing stood a beautiful white wolf, who seemed to be staring directly at her. Ivy knew this was Mirabella, her inner wolf, calling out to her. Mirabella's eyes seemed to glow with a mysterious power. Without hesitation, Ivy stepped forward and Mirabella put Ivy in a sleepy state. When Ivy awoke, she found herself in a place that seemed like a dream. She was surrounded by a beautiful meadow of wildflowers and a peaceful river flowing in the background. She could feel a magical presence around her and knew that Mirabella was watching over her.

I need a little help here. The map glows for a moment, points toward the bed, and then goes blank again. I walk over to the bed. I pull back the covers and look under the pillows, but nothing. I go to my knees and look under the bed. Beneath the bed, I see a dark brown and black amulet shining at me, waiting for me to take it home. There is also a set of eyeballs looking at me.
