"Well we met when I was six, I don't remember what happened exactly but I was crying by the river and she came and hugged me and told me everything would be okay and since then, we became friends." The four of us me, dad, uncle Ryan and Kaden looked at each other and back at Mel. "Is she that mermaid friend you always talk about?" I asked She always talks about how mermaids exist and how she has A mermaid friend. She nodded her head, "yeah she's the one," "Let's go back home," I simply said and held her hand going back to the house. "Do you have a clue about what the woman was talking about?" They were the weakest of the shifters, having to return to the water every night as their body forces them to shift into their mermaid form. I already knew what Marques wanted. A small girl had been picked up by my scouts about a week ago. She hadn’t shifted yet, so her mermaid wasn’t fully present, meaning she could stay out of water. A mermaid born on land would be human until they first shifted, a merperson born in water would be born as mermaid, unable to shift into their human form until their sixteenth birthday. I could tell the girl was a mermaid just by the color of her skin. Merpeople were the only ones born with sharp bright green slanted eyes. Taking in Marques similarities to the

“No there isn’t a mermaid, but there is a mate of a mermaid on this jet. Your warrior Hunter has traces of the ocean in his blood. He isn’t a merman but he is still connected to us.” Warlus said looking at a shocked Hunter who shook his head. “What aren’t you talking about? Didn’t you say that we hadn’t finished the mating process yet? So how do I have traces of the ocean in my body?” Hunter said in disbelief. “I don’t know, Merpeople have never mated with landers before. We didn’t know about our first queen being a human, as I said, the ocean God erased many parts of our history. We all figured that his first mate had died during childbirth. 13-15 Mermaid....15-20 River Nymph...21-22 River nymph only had a couple pages, same as Leviathan. I had heard of that before, and it made me uneasy to think as little was known about river nymphs as a leviathan. I opened the pages, flipping through them. - Ryan asks. - You must know us as mermaids, but in fact, we are sirens. - You mean I'm part mermaid? - You could have been born a pure werewolf. The wolf gene was dominant, but you were born with mermaid and wolf genes, so yes, you are part mermaid. - Does that mean I can get a fish tail? Melody laughs to herself.

Shyly, Aqua agreed. “We can’t breathe underwater without them. My father tore his gills out to extend her mother’s life. We have a saying that all life begins with the gills. The heart scale is closely connected to our awakened powers, containing our mana borrowed from the moon. The gills and tails are proof that we are dwellers of the ocean. When a mermaid is born from the union between two heart scales, we are gifted with a body and a spirit. Sometimes, the body will die, but the spirit can live on for a little longer.”

But they thought they could hide it, … poor souls, how was that even possible when everybody around you was blessed with incredible powers. She was having a very beautiful fish tail, and so long golden hairs with bluish tinge like her mother and father fairy. They were happy together, but the matter came into the notice of other higher royal fairies and their lives became doomed.

I asked. "Oh my gosh!" gasped Ruthie. "You're a mermaid!" "Kind of. We may even be the origin of the mermaid myths. Akharu have been swimming the oceans for a long, long time." Ruthie blinked at her, starstruck, probably envisioning the Disney character, Ariel.

" Chad interrupted. " ...just... listen..." " okay." "Senator Chris, Ronald's father, was successfully initiated into the Medusa and became the country's only hope for redemption again.
