And from the mark, the souls that Demrid had consumed began to materialize, crying and screaming. That vampire king howled dolefully, fear etched on his pale face. “No! You all are mine. You belong to me.” But the circle started pulling him in, tendrils of ghostly hands latching onto his limbs. He begged.
