The week went by so fast. The days turned into nights and one day morphed into the next. They were all the same for Jojo . And her routine remained the same through it. Now that her mom was awake more often, she's resigned to cooping herself up in the room with her from dusk to dawn. That little moment where her mom had cried and looked at her like she knew her was long gone now, only but a distant memory. If there was a chance she could have hat again, she wanted to be here when it happens.

Scott became confused as Jojo's teeth were as that of a shark and before he could think or do anything else Jojo suddenly rushed towards him unaware and she stabbed him with the knife in his stomach. He saw his blood rushed out and the smiling Jojo pulled out the knife from his stomach with force which caused him to stagger and fell backwards as he used his hand to cover his wounds which was flowing with blood staining his clothes. “ Jojo.... It was a period of transformation. Was all that loudness mere distractions? If a person wears his heart in his sleeves, then what does he hide beneath that chest? Arabella’s POV As time flew by, Joel's sixteenth birthday was just around the corner. While for humans it might have been just another birthday, for our kind, it held far greater significance. His birthday coincided with a full moon, signifying that he would undergo his first shift. Leo had been preparing him for the transformation, emphasising the potential pain that accompanied it. However, we held onto hope that with Leo's Lycan blood coursing through his veins, Joel wouldn’t suffer too much.

My last thought is a useless question, my last memory the cry of an insufferable city elf… “Ooff Off!” A sound pierces the veil. The second thing she sees is a javelin pierced clear through the beast’s meaty arm; which had evidently blocked all but the very tip from her.

I don’t know how he managed to dupe almighty Jojo. Maybe I could have been his victim if I was interested in him. He probably saw the type of woman Jojo was and decided to deceive her with his sugar coated lies. I feel pity for Jojo who will have to start all over again, from a scratch. She have to end up getting a reasonable job first to support herself and quit her old lifestyle of milking people, especially men with deceit.

“How was Jojo killed? Did you watch them do it?” Tears flowed down my cheeks. “My maid betrayed me. Her name is Kayla and when I got out of the tunnel with Jojo, she was the only one left and she had a sword. Jojo used to like her but when he blocked her from accessing me, she put a sword through him!” I gasped. “It was so deep and I could tell what would happen finally. She didn't stop there as she sent two men after me. I had to kill those men before I was free!”
