Maybe I was just unlucky, she thought. Or maybe… she simply hadn’t known what love truly was. Her gaze drifted back to the couple. They weren’t doing anything extraordinary, yet there was something about the ease between them that made her pause. No tension. No uncertainty. Just comfort. Emma let out a soft breath. Maybe love isn’t supposed to hurt this much. After finishing her drink, she stepped back into the street, the cool air brushing gently against her skin. Without thinking too much about it, she followed the flow of the city until she found herself standing in front of a museum.

Really, really hoping she says yes.

I sobbed "I love you , you know that , right?" I looked at her . Still no response. What am I even expecting ? I kissed her forehead . Just looking at her beautiful face makes my heart flutter. But at the same time it hurts when she is not smiling . No matter what, I'll wait for her . I know for sure one day she is gonna come back . I'll tell her then how much I love her . How much I fucking adore her . I'm gonna show her everything. I just hope that day to come soon .

I stared at him, an unexplainable sadness stirring within me. "Then, would you be willing to become my fated mate?" I asked. He froze, surprised by my sudden question. He fell silent. I knew then that he was hesitating, struggling. He only desired to keep me as a toy, but he wasn’t willing to pay the ultimate price. "What? Not willing?" I laughed, "Your ‘love’ is worthless after all." "James, stop insulting me with your hypocrisy." I said coldly, turning to leave. "Emily!" He called out urgently, "Don’t be so unreasonable! "You call this stalking redemption? I don't need your guilt-driven babysitting. You owed me loyalty. You owed me faith. Not this... this obsessive shadowing!" His chin dropped to his chest. "...I'm sorry." Bella inhaled sharply, forcing the lump in her throat down. "Stop trespassing in my life. Just... disappear." She spun on her heel before he could see her eyes glisten. Damian remained rooted, arms limp at his sides. Tears blurred his vision as his nails bit into his palms. "Then tell me," he whispered to the empty space she'd occupied, "how do I stop loving you?"
