Novelas y relatos de Mha Christmas

And it was alive with light. Golden strands of Christmas lights traced the edges of the roof, outlining every architectural detail. Wreaths adorned the double doors, each woven with pine branches, red berries, and shimmering ribbons. A towering evergreen tree stood in the front yard, wrapped in twinkling white lights that reflected against the snow like fallen stars. I frowned. “Christmas is in December,” I said slowly. “Is it December?” Makeh’s lips curved faintly. “Time does not move the same across realms. The human world runs on its own rhythm. Ranking wolves who maintain relations with human governments keep careful record of such differences to avoid… missing important holidays.”

Two Christmases Later Bahamas Snow had a way of making everything feel so beautiful, white and peaceful. It reminded the whole world of the Christ child. The beauty of the season. Melody watched it fall through the glass window of the café, her fingers loosely wrapped around the warmth of the ceramic mug in front of her, though she hadn’t taken a sip yet. She was waiting for her takeout order. Sitting in Bahamas after a long conference for entrepreneurs, in which she gave a speech Melody couldn't help but smile at how much has changed since this time two years ago. And this was the time she got her Christmas miracle. Her heart was filled with gratitude.

~ New York City, 2002~ It was Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year! New York City's streets were decked out with stunning lights and plants. Stephanie stood in front of the Rockefeller Center plaza, marveling at the gorgeous Christmas tree. Thousands of light bulbs were used to ornament the tree, which was capped with a new Swarovski star. Stephanie's wavy black hair flowed loosely on her shoulders as she gazed up and stared at the star with a big smile on her face.

I have never trusted December. People say that sounds dramatic, but those people never watched their parents’ house burn down on Christmas Eve while the rest of the town kept singing carols like nothing happened. So yes, every time snow falls, my skin crawls. And tonight, on December 1st, Hallowpine is drowning in it. Snowflakes tumble from the sky like they’re drunk on holiday spirit, sticking to my eyelashes as I lock up my bakery. Sugar & Sin,the name sounds cute until you realize the only sugar inside is the kind I dump into coffee to survive this town.

I trust Lando to keep his dad out long enough for me to do everything I need. I quickly dressed in my red tracksuit with a white sparkling Christmas tree on the jacket and plants. I couldn’t resist buying them, especially when I saw that the start on the tree would be perfectly placed over my crotch in the front and my asshole. I couldn’t pass that up. I’m only wearing it while I work on decorating the villa. Have you ever seen the live-action How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie? Remember that scene where Martha May Whovier is doing an over-the-top yet elegant lighting decoration of her house? Yeah, that’s me. Plus, Alexander and some other pack members came out to help.

“You wish. Here does not feel like Christmas, so let us go shop for Christmas trees, flowers, and lots of roses.” “Put those clothes down. Let us go.” I was about to drag her out, but she stopped me. “We do not celebrate Christmas around here, Lisa.” Huh? What was she saying? I noticed that she was twisting her fingers. She only does that when nervous. Are they pagan? That explains it. “Here is the Silvercrest Dominion pack, the strongest of all packs. My father is the Alpha… we are werewolves, Lisa. It is high time I come out of my closet.”

Christmas break was just around the corner. A high school group chat that had been dead for years suddenly became lively again. Messages flooded in by the hundreds within minutes. Some people talked about how excited they were to reunite, while others sighed nostalgically about how beautiful those years had been. The class president sent me a private message again, insisting that I attend no matter what. I had ignored every invitation before, but this time, I agreed. Because I wanted to see what they looked like once they failed and had nothing left.

One soft click. The picture came out tasteful but teasing, enough to make him grin. She smiled, selected Darren’s name, hit send. Then tossed her phone onto the bed and poured herself a glass of cheap red wine. Next week, she'd have her bags packed, ready to head to Maysville, the small town she'd grown up in for Christmas. Her holiday plan was just perfect! Her playlist hummed to life; jazzy, lazy Christmas tunes filling the air. For the first time all day, her shoulders relaxed. She even started humming along, thinking about what tomorrow morning would look like. Morning pancakes, bad movies, Darren’s laugh…

"Even knowing what it'll cost?" "Even then." She kissed him softly. "Now, when do we tell him?" Nelson pulled out his calendar. "Thomas Garrett's corruption expose happens Tuesday. That'll already be chaos. We can't add our relationship to that fire. After Christmas, maybe? After the holiday tension passes?" "That's three weeks of hiding. Three weeks of lying to my father's face at family dinners." "I know. But if we tell him now, during the holidays, it ruins Christmas for everyone. And with the Garrett situation exploding—" Nelson stopped. "The timing is terrible no matter when we do it."

I stand alone on the icy field, turning back every few minutes to look at the road behind me. When my hands grow numb from the cold, I scroll my social media feed and see a recent post from my younger sister, Giada Soave. Holding gifts in her arms, she sits beneath a luxurious crystal Christmas tree with my parents embracing her from both sides. Ivano stands behind her with his hand resting lightly at her waist and his eyes full of tenderness. The caption reads, "Merry Christmas, I'm grateful to spend the holiday with those who love me most!" The comments section buzzes with blessings, praise, and envious messages.
