Elizabeth and Henry spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve with the family, all gathered in the manor. They celebrated traditional human holidays because of Anna, Elizabeth, and Sarah since the rest of them were of other species and religion altogether, but either way, sharing gifts and spending time together was a reason enough for all of them to participate.

Asher replied and Henry smiled patting his shoulders. "Thank you." Henry said and Asher smiled at him. "Thanks to you for still believing me after whatever my brother had done to Kylie. I still can't believe that my brother had done this... I never thought he would do something like this... But, why would he do this?" Asher asked but it's more like, he is questioning himself with a frown. Henry and Sarah looked at each other before looking at him. "Yeah... It's kind of something I was thinking too... But, the only question that got into my mind was... Is Damon in danger?" Henry asked and Asher's head snapped at him.

She looked around, hoping to find a way out of the dark and scary place, but all she saw were closed shops and empty buildings. Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around to see a man running towards her. He was big, with tattoos on his arms and a wild look in his eyes. She tried to run, but he caught up with her and grabbed her from behind. She struggled and kicked, but he was too strong. He dragged her into a nearby alleyway, and she screamed for help. Just as she thought it was the end, a man's voice echoed through the alleyway. "Hey, leave her alone!"

His eyes darkened as he watched them both fucking like rats, his hands fisted aggressively and there was a small crack in the air. SHATTER The glass of wine shattered into pieces that were broken from his tight grip. Sophie stood in the middle wearing reindeer antlers and the biggest smile. "There you are! Dad's getting the tree. We have so much to do." The front door opened and Derek and Jason carried in the biggest Christmas tree I'd ever seen. Derek's eyes found mine across the room and held for just a second. Long enough that my coffee mug suddenly felt too hot. "Morning, Maya," he said, voice still rough. "Morning."

Two men dressed in black with matching color of hats stood beside him, gun in their hands. The man swallowed the painful lump in his throat; he had heard rumours but he refused to believe them. He made the mistake of taking up the task everyone rejected and went into the dangerous territories of Narlands. The rumours were indeed true, the Death lord crept steadily, the silence was deafening. When his face came into view, the man's eyeballs widened in trepidation and at the same time, astonishment.

Larissa dodged him impatiently and said coldly, "I have yet to settle the score with you about you getting Ross abducted, and you have the guts to come and see me?" Henry looked ghastly. He lowered his voice as if he was afraid of being heard. "Larissa, you've got to be careful of that child. He's dangerous!" Larissa looked at him as if he were an idiot, and laughed coldly. "Is there something wrong with your brain? I practice medicine but I wouldn't be able to save someone like you." Henry gritted his teeth. "I risked my life to come and tell you that that child is a dangerous entity!
