I whispered back. We packed our bags and went to our second lecture. We sat down in the middle row. After the second lecture was finally over, the Professor dismissed the class. Students started standing up and talking loudly. Mia grabbed my arm. She pointed her finger all the way to the back of the giant lecture hall. "Emma, look," Mia said. "Look right there." I followed her finger. Sitting in the very back seat of the lecture hall was Hannah. She was wearing a big black hoodie. She had the hood pulled up over her hair, and she was wearing giant dark shades over her eyes inside the classroom.

We pushed through the mobbed hallways until reaching the classroom number 44. On entering, I saw how familiar it was to our classrooms on earth. The walls were painted with cream white colour. The ceiling had spotlights infused in it as they lightened the entire classroom. Vertical windows were lined up on the front wall, as we stepped in. Smart Board was attached on the wall at the right side of mine, instead of a white board or a black board. Quite high tech, I liked it.

By her appearance she looked kind. "Yes" she nodded and entered the class after me. I quickly glanced around the room feeling excited. I saw few bored students using phone, few looking at the new face(me), and some talking to each other. The lecture room had 5 rows of benches and many windows. Fully ventilated. I sat on a bench of an empty row. The introductory lectures were over. The classes started few days back but I was not allowed to attend lectures till all the formalities were over. Professor entered the class with huge smile on his face. He was young, with dark complexion and raven hairs. I already knew him as he was HOD and he also helped me to complete the formalities.

Depending on the course chosen, the more in depth the lessons. Xasha made his way to class, classrooms were in the tall white towers erected throughout the school and the S class lectures were held in the tallest one. Luckily his class was on the second floor, unlike Verra who had classes on the 39th floor and had to use the stairs. When Xasha walked into the classroom it was practically empty, in a room that could hold hundreds of students only around 20 people were inside sitting far apart except a few that seemed like close friends. They definitely had their uses. My small triumph was wiped from my mind as I walked into the huge, amphitheatre style classroom. The thing could seat two hundred and fifty if it could hold a dozen, and it was at least half full. My graduating class had thirty-six kids. There were at least three times that many in this single room.

Maybe I was having separation anxieties. I kept to myself mostly until the sports period. “Today we will have to go to the main hall where Mr. Miller will teach us hand-to-hand combat. This is a compulsory class for everyone and is an order from Alpha Jacob,” Nicole informed. The hall was huge with arched glass windows. It was surrounded by dense oaks and aspens.
