Yubi Trey and I sit at the long table in the living room, the folder of Abel’s prison documents spread out in front of us. Michael has just stepped out to make some calls, leaving us alone with our thoughts, our frustration, and the faint, dangerous pull between us that neither of us wants to admit.

Torvald said, not ashamed of what he has done. “You are going to give me their location without taking into account what they will do to you?” Michael questioned, staring at his brother in disbelief. “Don’t you worry about me,” Torvald said, putting his palm through the bars again. Michael gave Torvald one more look before grabbing his palm and drinking his brother’s blood to see what he knows. After getting the information, Michael sped out of the dungeons and took out his phone to call a few vampires to meet up with him at the North Pole. The last vampire on his list was Paris. Michael thought, ‘can’t give him too much alone time with Ann.’

Suddenly the doors were yanked open, and Michael walked in, dragging a dead beta of the Vivian Pack. “Hello friend” Michael smirked to the surprise of Jake. “Long time, no see.”

I hide the book and open the door. "I was driving by, and I couldn’t help checking out your sled. Damn she is a fucking beauty. I’m Mike by the way." He says pointing at my Harley. Michael Graham. There were no pictures on the walls of polished marble and dark wood. Evelyn Vance, the lead partner sat across from us. She was a woman in her fifties with a grey hair. She wore a suit that probably cost more than my car. She didn't smile. She just watched us with eyes. "I have the file on Michael Vale, " Evelyn said, tapping her tablet. "I know who he is. He plays dirty. He destroys lives."
