Michelle Zauner Dad Novels & Stories

"Yes. I need you to hide—hide where no one can find you. If possible, leave the country. Cyan already suspects I’m the one who sent you. She might tell Zach once he wakes up. I haven't fully won him back yet, so he might believe her and come looking for you. You cannot be caught. It will ruin everything. And don't worry, I’ll take care of telling my father that I was the one who gave you orders." "As you wish, Ma'am Laureen," he replied. Relieved, she hung up. There was no room for error today. She took another deep breath and was about to head back inside when she remembered someone. Zendaya! A smile spread across her face at the thought of the child. Without further ado, she called Zach’s

"Your parents—you don't have to tell me anything. I just—I want to know all of you, Zac." Zac exhaled deeply, looking out at the city again. He swung his hands that were dangling in the air. He licked his lips. "My dad—he isn't really in the picture. He left a few years ago. He—he wasn't a great guy. He was an alcoholic who was a mess all the time. My mom, she—" Zac rubbed the back of neck, pausing. My heart was aching for him. I shook my head softly. "Zac, you don't have to tell me any of this."

Then, on our tenth wedding anniversary, he locked up me and the twins in the basement and set fire to the house. "Mommy!" The twins' cries amidst the inferno broke my heart. Hence, at the present, I fought back my swelling hatred and lowered my collar, turning in the direction of the study. If I remembered correctly, John Sullivan—Dylan's father—had been drugged as well. The Sullivans always had problems producing heirs, and as the only son, Dylan's place was secure even though he was conceived through IVF. But what if he wasn't John's only child?

I was instantly filled with a sharp pain. "Dad must really like Ms. Luna. The way he looks at Ms. Luna is different from how he looks at you. Dad said that the reason he doesn't want a divorce is that he's afraid I'll end up becoming a child from a single-parent family like you. It wouldn't be good for my psychological growth. He's also worried that you would cling to him and end up hurting others when you lose control!" I looked at Zach. He was only five years old, speaking in a cute, childish tone that was nothing short of innocent.

Dad walked up to me and grabbed me by the shoulders. “Gunner, first of all, take a bloody breath. Second, Zelena’s father is NOT coming for dinner. And finally, why are you screaming about your mother?” I took a deep breath in, and then let it out again slowly, my body slowly started to cool down. Okay maybe I’m acting a little pissy. I looked at my father's face and told him what is going on.

She put down her bag, looked at me and sighed. "How can I not be tired, Chris? you don't even know what is going on at home recently." "What happened?" I asked. I am already calmed down at the time but still worry about the family. "It's your dad." Mom replied. "your dad is only a driver in the Macmillan family back then, but because he took care of Michelle, he rose through the ranks in the riches." "Now, Michelle has become the son—in—law of our family. So, your dad naturally entered the board of directors and helped Michelle fight his sister, wanting to help him become the President." Mom explained.

I said confidently while trembling inside. The guests clapped and dad took the microphone again and said " I know that my daughter hasn't been trained to handle the company. I will still be right here behind her to guide and teach her until he mastered everything, however, I need someone who will help her to handle Madden Realty Group. That's why I am announcing the wedding of my daughter with Zachary Laurier" Dad shouted to everyone. My eyes widened. What the fuck? "Daddy-" I was about to say something when Zach approaches me.

I heard Zahra say and I turned to see Zahra walking towards Michelle and I at the dinning table. "Sweetheart" I called as I raised my face and she pecked my cheeks. "There's my favorite God daughter!" Michelle said with a small smile. "I'm your only God daughter!" She replied. "Yeah right whatever!" "Your looking happy today, what's going on with you?!" Michelle asked. "Don't I deserve to be happy?" she replied. "Ofcourse, you do sweetheart but we're interested in knowing the reason for this particular happiness " Michelle replied. "She had some minutes out with her Dad and Dante today " I said and Michelle smiled

I had stubbornly insisted on being with Zac, ignoring everything else. My father let out a cold laugh. “If I hadn’t seen the trending topics from a few days ago, I might’ve actually believed your nonsense.” I paused, startled, and glanced at him in surprise. “Since when does my dad, the workaholic, even pay attention to trending topics?” I thought to myself. He sat down with a serious look. “What’s the deal with Zac’s niece? Is she mentally ill or something?”

I’d much prefer to stay at home, in my bedroom, hiding from the world. I shift my MacBook sitting in my lap, and I pull something up on N*****x. I need the distraction tonight. It was a rough day today. Passing out in front of all of Zaire’s friends at the beach was humiliating. When Zaire told Mom once we got back, she freaked out and had Dad do an exam on me just to make sure nothing was wrong. My dad’s a doctor—a general practitioner. He used to be a surgeon, but he was gone a lot. He gave up his prestigious job at the hospital when I was just a baby so he could stay home more. He’s always been around to me.
