It’s raining marshmallows. They’re just falling from the sky; pink, yellow, white and green. Okay, Mike is just emptying the contents of the candy packet onto the grass above our heads. Vicky squeals and shrieks, a mixture of grief and anger on her face. She had brought a candy pack from home, and Mike, who is against any sort of junkies, just spilled out its contents. “You…you imbecile! Wicked, cruel, monstrous, candy-throwing--” Vicky doesn’t usually get angry or insult someone, so this is humourous.

So Em moved over to let her sit on the bed with them and launched into the events of last night. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mickey just stared at them….. “Soooo.. you’re saying.. you don’t want to get him back?” Mickey was frowning at this revelation, she had worked tirelessly on her plan. “You sound a little too disappointed about that”. Sylvia pointed out. But Mickey actually looked extremely disappointed. So Em threw her a bone. “Maybe let’s table it for now.. he did help me. But that doesn’t mean we can’t play a little trick on someone else..”

He chuckled as his eyes went to Lilly, “princess, would you like to ride with me on the trike this morning after breakfast?” Lilly’s eyes sparkled with excitement, “yes, very much Uncle Micky, will you take me on an adventure to fight dragons or witches today,” she giggled. His eyes glanced at me before he answered, “perhaps we will find another princess in the forest, or a troll, which would you prefer?” Her tiny hand rubbed at her chin as she thought deeply of her answer, “Troll, you only need me as the princess here.” I was more grateful that he was taking Lilly with him, right now my only thoughts were how I was going to survive the rest of this day with the knowledge that my mate was in

She didn’t answer. She just sat down like a warrior approaching her final duel. The whistle blew. And Mika became a monster. She didn’t eat the pies. She devoured them. No finesse. No mercy. Crumbs flew. Filling coated her jaw. She looked possessed. Halfway through, Valiant tried to sabotage her—switching her next pie with one so dense it could double as a brick. She didn’t blink. She inhaled it. Then licked her fingers and reached for the next.

~ Audrey ~ “What’s up, bitches? I’m bringing the party with me!” Mikey swung the door open dramatically like a scene from a movie. It made a loud banging noise and Audrey and Olivia immediately looked up. They were seated in the living room of Audrey’s Hampton home. The atmosphere was still tense, but Mikey didn’t realize it. He had a smug smile playing on his face and lifted his hands up as if he was presenting a show. “Ta-da!” he said in a singsong way as Caspian and Killian appeared from behind him.

Tamara says. "No, no, it's fine. We will clean up the house ourselves," Mikey says. Mikey does not want any more of Mariam's magic around him. One never knows when she will kill you with a spell. "Ha ha ha. You are all afraid of my spells. Broom of doom cleaned this house, and I don't want to see a mouse," Miriam says. The next moment, a broom attacks everybody in the room, and the wolves must duck and dive to avoid all the broom hits.

Mickey motioned for us to all move toward the window, the furthest from the bedroom door we could get. “So I told off their father, and uhm … well I punched him, it wasn’t pretty. I went to go find my parents and I smelled her, my wolf lost his shit. I went and found her, she’s like the black sheep of the family, wouldn’t go into business instead went into nursing. She hates it here, we decided not to wait,” Mickey said. “But…” Alex said, clearly picking up his hesitation. Sure, I only have a death squad out looking for me but let’s huddle around a huge fucking window and gossip like school girls.

“Pretty neat, huh?” “Hey! Vince, who told you to-“ Mykel suddenly appeared from the door, but he stopped as soon as he saw Millie inside. “I was just showing her around,” Vince said innocently. Mykel sighed, stepping in. “If one of these disappears from their respective spots, I’ll seriously kill you.” He pointed at his brother. “So temperamental!” Vince half-whispered. Millie let out a small laugh when she heard him say that. “I didn’t know you’re into Mario,” she said, turning back at Mykel.

Once Mikki arrived in the living room of the safe house, Max was already there with a middle-aged man that she knew could only be the Beta of the Lusine Pack. He looked older than Max, but in a very good shape still. Once his eyes fell on her, he bowed down and kissed her hand. “Your Highness,” he said, his voice sounding firm and respectful. “Mikki, this is Vadik, my Beta,” Max introduced them. “Vadik, this is Mikki Auclair, Princess of the Royal House and also my fiancée.”

"Scarlett, you really thought I liked some skinny, broke loser like you? Truth is, Vicky and I have been together for a while. "I planned to trick you into raising strong pets so we could toss you to the zombies and have nine guardians ourselves. "But you… you were stupid enough to cling to those dead cats." Vicky giggled, swaying Dominic's arm. "Honey, why bother? Now, we've got Tibetan mastiffs and a lion. Who cares if she dies? Might as well let our little ones have a snack now." Her words made me freeze. Was I going to be eaten by the mastiffs even before the zombies arrived? Their teeth looked terrifyingly sharp.
