Ghost parked in front of the convenience store five blocks from Monet’s residence. On foot, we went back to her residence, entering from the back of the house. It was midday, but in a neighborhood like this, no one gives a shit about two huge men lurking like a burglar in the night.
Looking around, I nodded at Ghost. He picked the lock on the backdoor. It easily opened. We pulled out our guns, making sure it was loaded. I followed Ghost inside, covering our backs.
